Great pub in an ideal position overlooking the beach at Crackington Haven, serving reasonable priced food which is tasty and plentiful, quick service, and a real sun trap, enjoyed this pub went 3 times so would recommend it.

After some hazzle with our room booking, we were given a lovely room with a balcony and a view to the ocean. The bed was really confortable and the room quiet after the pub quiz ended. Breakfast was ok. If you are interested in walking in the nature, this is a good destination.

We didn't stay here but went for lunch. We were a little diappointed with this pub. It was rather scruffy and the food is very 'run of the mill' and very average. Not very child friendly. Great location.

Have visitied here several times and had drinks outside admiring the superb views out over the beach, this place is in a great location, with ample parking. Last visit we decided as the evening drew on to have a meal as well and discovered the food is good wholesome pub food, and plentyful but a bit expensive, especially the starters,... More

Food and drink over priced. Decor very shabby and would benefit from a proper makeover - the owners are missing a trick here as this inn could be exceptional, but sadly isn't and appears to be trading on its location alone. Did not stay in the hotel (thank goodness). The locals seem to drink their pints sitting on the wall... More

I stayed in this Inn while walking part of the South West Coast Path 24 hours after a personal tragedy - they were kindness itself. Alex the manager is an amazing person - he could not have been kinder, more considerate or more helpful. Quite apart from that, the Inn is located in an idyllic position, is very comfortable and... Found this lovely little hideaway one evening during a run out in the Car after our evening meal. After sampling their delights the following evening we went back for the next three nights simply because the food was really good & the views out to sea through the cove were marvellous. The staff are really pleasant & very engaging when... More

The location slap bang on the middle of the coastal path cannot be beaten and the staff are super friendly so well recommended. Food is good pub grub - nothing fancy but good portions (homity pie was tasty in particular). Couple of minor gripes - wanted an earlier breakfast but didn't realise only opened at 8.30 so we had to... More

Do not expect gourmet food, but you will have good food. This is a pub for those who love walking and the wonderful scenery offered by North Cornwall and the view here is fabulous. Service was prompt at the bar with a decent wine list. Having settled in to the wonderful relaxing view and seen fresh crab was offered we... More

The location is unquestionably spectacular, especially if you can get Room 6 with a large private balcony overlooking the bay. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The bar was noticeably busy and, possibly under the influence of the staff, had a lovely warm atmosphere. The food was above average for standard pub fare. So, why not a 5* review,... More
