Had a really good time there, great views and happy staff. Enjoyable seaside walks and good comfy beds. Recommended for anybody of any age. Also they have cheap and tasty food. Lots of places to go. There is a cafe close to the inn and there's a coastal walk aswell!

I am originally from Week st Mary which is just a short drive from Crackington Haven. My wife is from the West Midlands. We now live in Saskatchewan Canada where we recently got married. So we decided to have a blessing at my local chapel at Maxworthy and a reception at the Coombe Barton. The owners of this B &... More

Our last day of holidays around Cornwall finished in this pub where the sunset view was stunning, the fish and chips I chose as a dinner: crispy and tasty; charming staff and very friendly vibe. Don´t leave the place without trying the desserts using clotted cream 'gorgeous'.

Had dinner in the pub with some friends and it was fantastic. Great views, good food and great atmosphere. We tried the soup, cod and chips, sea bass and Cornish sausages; all very good. Kind staff and sociable regulars. Good value for the money in an exclusive location.

We have been visiting the Coombe Barton and Crackington Haven as an ever growing family for 30 years - only one request please could you improve the choice of real ales - it would make such a huge difference - we have heard so many people say the same - guest ales would be fantasitic instead of the choice that... Never again I will never use this pub again .The pub discriminate against disabled and there is no wheelchair access ramps apart from a bit of old rotten wood health and safety or what and no disabled parking the pub and food just speaks for itself “Unpleasant”

This beautiful place – a magnet for surfers and tourists in summer – was fortunately only pleasantly populated on our visit: a sunny day in early March. This was a lunch stop on our day’s walk, and thoroughly enjoyed. We even ate outside, looking over the beach – I had a very good round of tuna mayo sandwiches, but hubbie... More

We have been coming here over the years when we visit but this time has been the worst yet. Bad customer service, extremely rude bar woman who also got our order wrong then said we ordered it wrong and made us pay £1 extra and had to wait 20minutes for the toasty to arrive even though we were the only... We would never go back to this place - even if you paid us to. The customer service was shocking - such rude staff it was almost laughable (but not because we were made so angry by it all!!) The food was very average and very over-priced for what you actually get and considering we had to wait about 40... More

Visited in time to watch the sunset and we managed to get a seat by the window - this was pretty impressive with a great view. I thought the food was OK(ish) but expensive. Mushroom stroganoff, lasagne & chips plus a couple of drinks (imho) shouldn't come to £27.35. Killer question - would I go back? Probably not.
