Well I will say this is for sure a motel in greater MN. No frills or extras. It was clean and warm. There was a fridge and microwave which was nice to have. Some of our party rented suites as well, those were nicer and very cozy. I would say pay the extra for one of the suites. Cindy the... More

This motel is located near Wabasha Minnesota. yeah it has 80s type decor and is clean... but is not for those for looking for the latest and greatest in hotel chains. Room was adequate for the price and had older tube style TV and firm double beds. Some Light bulbs were burnt out and was hard to spot from the... More

Called to make a reservation and asked a few questions about the general area. When I arrived, the new owner(Cindy) had a list of things to do...very nice lady. Reserved the Chalet room...she up grated at no cost...stayed in one of the whirlpool fireplace rooms...had a really nice quite stay...I liked the room

We needed a room in the area for two nights for a wedding we were a part of. Wabasha is kind of a tourist trap because of its location on the river and the Grumpy Old Men movies so many of the hotels in the area have remodeled and have extremely high rates for a basic room. We had a... More

While traveling the bluffs of Southern Minnesota and enjoying the eagles in the Lake Pepin area, I stumbled across a quaint "ma and pa" motel. I was shown several newly remodeled theme suites that included Jacuzzi tubs, but opted for one of the "Chalet" rooms which is all I really needed on my budget. The manager was very accommodating in... More

We travelled with our two granddaughters and stayed at the Coffee Motel. Horrible experience. No amenities, office locked from 7 PM to 11 AM, no ice, no breakfast, towels like sandpaper, no view, not clean, and way over priced. I asked the granddaughters to rate the place and they gave it 5 dump trucks for a rating. Would advise not... More

I am put up in motels through the company I work for, and have had some good and bad experiences. This was the worst yet. My key was taped to the door and no one was around. The hotel itself looks as if it were built in the 60's and has not had any renovation done since. I can handle... More

This is the strangest experience we've ever had at a motel. We had advance reservations and when we arrived there was no one there and just a note with a phone number on the door. We did not have a cell phone available so we had to drive into town and find a phone to use. The manager said she... More

This is one of the worst places I have stayed at. The room was dirty and smelled of urine, the carpets in the hallway were dirty and the staff were rude. I didn't even stay for one night, I left after 2 hours and found a better hotel.
