I was extremely disappointed with this place when I stayed there recently. I needed to get out of town Valentine's weekend and just wanted to find a dog-friendly place with a hot tub and a fireplace to rest and relax for a stress-free weekend. Stayed in the captain's suite which is their nicest. Price was $289/night and we stayed for 2 nights. The view was nice and the decor was nice but the telephone didn't work, the mattress was completely sagged in the middle and the unit appeared to have nothing more than a vacuuming. Eagles On The River is a very very romantic B&B. We stayed in the suites. Very nice. Very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a romantic getaway. Prices are very reasonable. The Mississippi River is right there. Just beautiful. I think anytime of the year would be nice to go here. more
