Turning Waters is a great place to use as a base to travel up and down the quaint Mississippi river communities. Throw in a 4 hour kayak trip with Mike and a infrared spa and massage with Ruth a person could not ask for more. Cassie provided us with a wonderfully unique breakfast each morning that carried us well into... More

We arrived to a welcoming house--a note on the door told us to walk on in--but the free beer (1 bottle in the fridge) and the cheap $3-$4 bottle of wine each night didn't impress us. Our first breakfast was pretty special but not the second (scrambled eggs and sausage). My husband didn't get full at either breakfast. We were... More

This charming B&B is a must southeastern MN destination! Wabasha is an adorable little town nestled in the river valley bluffs along the Mississippi, and Turning Waters is icing on the cake being an exceptional place to stay. Even before arriving, the accommodations began easily as Richie provided fast and great communication. Upon arrival Cassie greeted us warmly and made... More

My trip to Wabasha was filled with many firsts. My first solo vacation. My first stay at a bed & breakfast. My first time kayaking on the mighty Mississippi. From the moment I arrived at TWBBA I felt welcome and at home. I was drinking a complimentary glass of wine within minutes of settling into my gorgeous room. (I stayed... More

My husband and I love the St. Croix river area and often drive down as a day trip from Mpls. We wanted a B&B that wasn't overly cutesy, covered in floral wallpaper and with lace doilies everywhere. Turning Waters is just that. As 30yr olds, we're often the youngest people at B&Bs, but we fit right in at Turning Waters... More

We r usually hotel people but I talked my husband into a b&b for my 31st bday! We wanted to avoid the frilly flowery b&bs and wanted something unique but nice. Turning waters did not disappoint. Very nice interesting house with well decorated very clean and welcoming rooms. Nice breakfast from Cassie. We would definitely return in future. Nice small... More

This is how a B&B should be -- welcoming and comfortable with not one doily in sight. The owners' enthusiasm translates into beautifully decorated and clean rooms, warm common areas and a fantastic breakfast. Take advantage of Turning Waters' relationship with Broken Paddle Guiding for an unforgetable kayak trip on the Mississippi. Best weekend of the summer!

We stumbled across Turning Waters while searching for an overnight getaway for our anniversary. We decided on Wabasha because we were interested in visiting the National Eagle Center. We were fortunate to find a room open for our dates and so we booked, and we were totally glad we did! It is a lovely old house, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated.... More

There is a hidden gem in the small town of Wabasha, Minnesota. The Turning Waters Bed and Breakfast is everything you could ever ask for in a B&B: comfort, classy, and charming. To top it off, Cassy, made incredible breakfasts and she added to the charm of the home. It is worth the trip from wherever you are from. Also,... More

The family rented a houseboat for a few days. We tied up at the harbor in Wabasha. The boat was too crowded so my wife and I stayed at the B&B. What a great decision! Mike showed us all around the whole house, which is perfect. The restoration is exceptional and the house still moves the way it should. He... More
