There is a hidden gem in the small town of Wabasha, Minnesota. The Turning Waters Bed and Breakfast is everything you could ever ask for in a B&B: comfort, classy, and charming. To top it off, Cassy, made incredible breakfasts and she added to the charm of the home. It is worth the trip from wherever you are from. Also,... More

The family rented a houseboat for a few days. We tied up at the harbor in Wabasha. The boat was too crowded so my wife and I stayed at the B&B. What a great decision! Mike showed us all around the whole house, which is perfect. The restoration is exceptional and the house still moves the way it should. He... More

We stayed in the Great Lakes room this past weekend for 2 nights. What a wonderful place to stay! Cassie was a great hostess, and made us feel right at home. We came on our Harley, and after a long, hot ride, a cold beer from the fridge hit the spot. Cassie's breakfasts were delicious. She went out of her... More

We enjoyed three wonderful nights in the Prairie bedroom, which has a separate and luxurious bathroom down the hall. Breakfast by our talented hostess Cassie proved the highlight of our first B&B experience. Unique dishes and bakes treats greeted us each of the three mornings of our stay. Strawberry rhubarb scones with lemon icing anyone? Or how about poached eggs... More

I stayed for three nights at Turning Waters this July while on business in the Wabasha area. Cassie was so welcoming. I was offered a beer as soon as I walked in. My room was comfortable, quiet, and very clean. Breakfast was delicious--an endless spread of made-from-scatch dishes--and was prepared using locally sourced and sustainably produced ingredients. If you are... More

While my friend and I were exploring Minnesota we found ourself in the quaint little town of Wabasha. Though we had no reservations and the owners had just returned from a trip themselves, they courteously made us feel so very much "at home" and took no short cuts in being the best hosts we have experienced in years. They were... More

I took my 13 year old Daughter to Wabasha for the weekend, and we stayed at Turning Waters. Being 13, she was pretty hesitant, thinking it would be "weird" and for honeymooners. We weren't there 10 minutes and I said, Isn't it cute?" And she said, "It's not cute, it's awesome!!" Cassie was wonderful, so hospitable and helpful with everything.... More

Mother and College Daughter Adventure - From the minute we pulled up to "Turning Waters" and stepped onto the porch, we could "feel" relaxation settling in! The big, huge, wrap around porch where we sat and read, and enjoyed morning coffee! Cassie greeted us as we walked through the front door! Entering into the house - so spacious, relaxing, comfortable,... More

We spent 2 nights at Turning Waters B&B and Adventure and had a wonderful time. The rooms were very clean, decorated with different themes and well maintained. Breakfast was AMAZING both mornings and it was nice to sit and talk to the owners. This was a very welcoming B&B and we could tell the ownership took pride in the appearance... More
