My husband and I visited this Lighthouse and toured it on a previous trip to the North Shore several years ago. As a surprise early Valentine's Day trip, he took me there this past weekend and we spent two nights there. We spent several hours snow shoeing in Split Rock State Park, but I have to say that just sitting... More

We stayed here again in January, and it is always a wonderful experience. I love the location, and it is neat to see and experience the lighthouse and its history. Our room was great, and the breakfast served the next morning was wonderful.

A must stay if you are travelling up the North Shore of Lake Superior! It was a wonderful and educational experience to stay in a working lighthouse. The innkeeper opened up the museum and pilot house for us to explore. The quaint Skiff House, a separate building next to the lighthouse, comes equipped with heated floors, jacuzzi, and mini fridge.... More

This is the Bed and Breakfast experience everyone should enjoy!! Truly remarkable and memorable! A working lighthouse that serves as a B & B, and is situated on Lake Superior. Highly recommended. I stayed in the Keeper's Room, with the south view. Sunset, and sunrise, were enjoyed peering out of the porthole windows. Breakfast was great too, including Norwegian Fruit... More

The Lighthouse B & B far exceeded all of our expectations. Melissa, the innkeeper, is a terrific hostess, making sumptuous breakfasts and special treats for the guests each night. The furnishings were lovely, much nicer than what some of the other reviews had suggested. And the building itself, an old lighthouse that is still in use, was also prettier in... More

Staying in the lightkeeper's quarters is a very unique experience! Melissa, who is in charge of the B&B met us with fresh cookies she'd baked that afternoon when we arrived. Our room was very nice and had a very comfortable bed. The three bedrooms upstairs in the keeper's quarters share one bathroom, but that was not an issue, even though... More

Such a pleasant experience! From the charming room and bathroom - even though the bathroom is shared, it proved to be no issue at all. And here is another half bath in the basement for guests if needed. Waking up and hearing the waves of Lake Superior through the cracked windows is so relaxing. And the ladies that manage and... I had wanted to stay in this Lighthouse ever since it opened as a bed and breakfast. This week I finally got my wish, and it was an experience I will cherish my entire lifetime. The Two Harbors Lighthouse, built in 1892 has such a rich heritage and it is seen throughout the house with artifacts, pictures, and even the... More

Our trip around Lake Superior started with a great experience stay at the Lighthouse B & B. Plan your stay in advance as it is a very popular stay. Attractions included the Lighthouse, harbor, walking path along the lake, wild raspberries, a evening bonfire, lots of stars and great hospitality on the part of the hostess who was very knowledgable... My sis and I took a road trip up the North Shore and stayed at the lighthouse our first night. What a delight...from the fresh baked cookies waiting for us, to the views, to the walks, to seeing a real working lighthouse. A really great and unique place to stay.
