Let me start by saying there were lots of motels on the North Shore right off Hwy 61 and they will all have highway noise. My husband and I stayed ther this weekend (Nov 4-6) from friday thru sunday at the Lake Superior Cabin. It's small but very cozy and has everything you need. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay at any season!
