We visited Superior shores to attend a family wedding that took place at the resort. The wedding was lovely, right on the shores of the lake, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. It was extremely convenient to have a room in the main lodge of the hotel. The room was nice – good sized, with two double beds.... more

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the Bayshore Luxurious condominiums that had a balcony looking out right over Lake Superior. Cool breezes were delightful. Accommodations were new and clean. Balcony and view were fabulous. Plenty to do in state parks in the area. Food at the lodge was good, but service not the best. Great place to stay.... more

We stayed in a two bedroom luxury suite in the main part of the resort. The room was fine although for this part of the resort, I thought it showed its age somewhat. We had a deck off of the living room, and the deadbolt lock had some rotted wood by it, making it a hard to lock and the... more

I stayed here for valentines day and it was very nice. The hotel is new, I stayed in a room of the Burlington road which is seaperate from their main building. It is a very large hotel complex, 3 to 4 floors with smaller windows, however I didn't hear my neighbors. There was a fire place but...I had to turn... more

I really liked this hotel. I don't remember much about the room except that it had oak paneling that was seemed a bit outdated, but it was very clean and nice. The lobby was very pleasant and cozy. It had a big stone fireplace with vaulted ceilings and moose heads at the top. The price of accommodations was reasonable. However... more

When we booked our two-bedroom lakehome reservation at Superior Shores, we clearly stated there was a physically disabled person in our party and we could have no stairs. We were assured that there would be none. In fact, when we arrived, there was a set of 20 steps leading down to our unit, although there were no stairs inside the... more

We have stayed at Superior Shores several times, and like the Bay condo's the best. They are building more now, but was not intrusive inside the room. We choose a 4th floor room, and the view was breath taking. We walked, talked, read books, watched movies, and had a very relaxing time. There is a full kitchen, so if you... more

I loved my weeklong stay in the residential cabins at Superior Shores, I'm a member of RCI so we stayed in one of their cabins right on the lake. I particularly liked that the unit we stayed in (they' re privately owned) had alot of good books, magazines, and had just a up north cabin feel to it. They also... more

We booked a weekend get-away on somewhat short notice. We were told that the only room type available was a "lake-view, fireplace, jacuzzi" for $189. It seemed a splurge but sounded nice so we indulged. Unfortuantely when we walked into our room (first having to pass through the smokers' wing which smells like a 50-year-old ashtray), we were disappointed with... more
