Great cabins and beautiful grounds. The owner goes out of his way to help you with anything you need. And the area on Lake Vermillion is beautiful. Great fishing spots close by, and good resturants nearby. Every thing you need for a wonderful vacation.

I would recommend. Quiet clean and fun. Nice pontoons to rent. Love the lake super pretty. Cabin was clean and nice. Wish they had bait. But there is a small convenience store up the road. I would stay there again.

Spent 4 nights in the Elk Lodge. Great setup. Nice updated kitchen, plenty of room. Had two bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. Bedroom on main level had double and single bed with attached bath. Living room had two futons. Upper level had a loft with 4 singles (if I recall properly) and a bedroom with 3 singles and a double. We only... More

My husband and I just got back from our one year wedding anniversary trip up at Lake Vermilion. We had never been and we loved our stay at Pike Bay Lodge. When we checked in Jay was gone, but Nick the guy filling in for him did a great job getting us set up with our boat rental and cabin.... More

Wonderful resort and Jay the host. We had a large group of 12 family members, fully enjoyed the main house with two kitchens and plenty of sleeping quarters. We used the down stairs kitchen for food/meals with the two stoves and refridges, then set up the bar and snacks in the upper level kitchen. The kitchens were so well stocked,... More

Our group of guys, ( 12 to 14 in group ) has been going north on fishing trips for over 15 years in Canada and most recently the last three years at Pike Bay Lodge on Vermillion. I can honestly tell you this place has the best accommodations we have stayed in as we had the main house up and... More

We had a crew of 14 rent the main house for a week and really enjoyed the accommodations. Jay and his crew keep everything in great shape and treated us well for our trip. I have been on fishing trips every year for 30 years and would rate Pike Bay as among the best for accommodations.

Group of us stayed a week for doing some fishing. Very quiet resort. Very relaxing and the newer lodges (Elk lodge) are very nice and comfortable. Have stayed previously in the older lodges, but definitely recommend the newer lodges.

I've stayed at Pike Bay Lodge many times over the last several years, using it as a base for winter snowmobiling. I really can't say enough good things about it. Jay runs an awesome resort. He's easygoing and doesn't weigh you down with a list of rules or do's and don'ts. We always stay at the Elk's Lodge and I... More

Stayed for a week in August and had a great time. If you're looking for nice modern amentities (a rare cabin dishwasher!!), and lots of space this is your place! VERY good: LOTS of room! Stayed in Elk's Lodge Cabin and it was great: 2 bedrooms plus a loft. 1 bedroom on mainfloor with a double and twin bed and... More
