The rooms are beautiful, large and very quiet. Huge bed and very clean, not what I expected at all of a casino up north. I understand the golf coarse is 2nd to none and a must do in the future. However we were at tail end of a week in Ely and just stayed a night. They also had their... More

This hotel is really nice. It is clean and very nicely decorated. The room we had lover looked the lake and the golf course. We had a patio with comfortable furniture. The smell of the pines is wonderful. I could find nothing wrong with any part of this resort. It is located on one of Minnesota's biggest and most beautiful... More

The bad: I've stayed in a number of hotels but this was the worst. I am sure this hotel has some good rooms but 230 was disgusting. There comes a time when a room does not meet the least of expectations. The smoke smell was over powering and the window screens had quarter size holes to let the fresh air... More

This property is very senic. I'm guessing the rooms that look out over the lake have great views. We had one of the rooms without a view but the room was a nice size and clean. We walked down to the lake. Nice view and a cool breeze. Our main objective was golf and food. This place fit the bill... More

We are regular visitors to Fortune Bay. I play golf, my wife plays in the casino. Our room and mattress were very comfortable. Food quality, service and ambience are better over at the Wilderness Golf Club. Check in/out is consistently understaffed and therefore slow - be prepared for a wait. Golf course is in great condition, greens are medium -... More

We had heard good things about this casino hotel and it did not disappoint. We upgraded to a Jacuzzi suite. The room was very spacious, but it could have used a small couch for sitting. We tried both the dinner and breakfast buffet. The buffet was smaller than some of the larger casinos we have been to but the selections... More

After a four night canoe trip in BWCA. It was Great taking and shower and a good nights sleep. But sleeping was a no go. The pull down bed that I tried to sleep in was a nightmare I was jabbed in my back or ribs all night. It was better sleeping in the tent without our sleeping pads. We... More

Thank you for your recent visit. Sorry that the Murphy bed did not provide you with a good night’s sleep. We will look into the room that you stayed in and replace the mattress or repair the bed frame. Regardless, please accept our apologies and thanks again for your visit. More

We greatly enjoyed our recent stay at Fortune Bay...clean and felt more upscale than other casinos. We got a room upgrade to a non smoking room with a small balcony overlooking the 18th hole. Got to enjoy a very beautiful sunset while sitting outside. Quiet, clean and comfy. It didn't feel like a casino and we were very aware of... More

This hotel is tucked away up north in Tower Mn . We where a group of 10 riding motorcycles from Canada . We where all pleasantly surprised with the hotel . First glance of the main lobby was beautiful. Our rooms where exactly as the pics with all updated linen and nice newer furniture. Was a nice touch to have... More

My husband and I went to Fortune Bay from June 27th through the 29th. When I called to make the reservation Leigh was awesome! She was kind, helpful and eager to help as we were just married April 19th and really just wanted our first weekend away as a married couple. We had the King fire place suit room 512... More

Good afternoon: I spoke to our resort manager who will speak to his team member about the poor customer service you experienced. The same discussion will take place with our Tim Hortons team members and our Sunset Steakhouse crew. You are right. Providing customer service is a simple task that we sometimes forget and we apologize for not recognizing the... More
