Disappointing stay! Cost of room did not match with want we got. Our room had a tiny balcony overlooking the street that you could barely sit on. Our window overlooked the dirty break area of the outside sitting and employees smoking, clanging dishes and complaining about customers. No wifi, tv a leftover from the 80s with a screen about 12x18".... More

We had a really lovely time at the Water Street Inn for Valentine's Day. They had a great package including dinner, the overnight, and breakfast. Water Street Inn is not a 5-star resort. But it is a really excellent little place to stay for the value.

I stayed at this hotel for a bachelorette party and reserved a double room. When we went to the room, there was only one bed and supposed to have a pull out couch. We did not have that so they brought cots in the room. Which was not the best, but it worked for the night. We went out and... More

We had an extremely pleasant experience at the Water Street Inn. It has a perfect location, adorable rooms, and incredibly helpful staff. My husband and I live in Minneapolis and just wanted a quick one-night getaway before the birth of our second baby- a mini-babymoon type thing. Our visit to Stillwater was perfect because we didn't want to be too... More

This place is a total joke! I made a reservation on hotels.com earlier in the week and then at 5pm the night of my reservation, I received a call that they don't have any availability! Wow! And to make matters worse, they lied and said they tried to call before. There was never any call from them! They obviously gave... More

A room on the river side is essential, also one on the upper floor. The balcony is tiny but workable. The Victorian decor was very nice, the room and bed very comfortable. We took advantage of the room by ordering appetizers and drinks from room service to enjoy on the balcony, listening to the music from the bar. I do... More

I am not sorry that we stayed here as we had a great time and the location cannot be beat, but it is expensive for what it offers and could use some upgrading while still maintaining its older charm. The food and entertainment were great, and for the most part, the staff was very accomodating. Again, I am so glad... More

The Water Street Inn has beautiful antique charm. The view of the river is amazing. If you are looking for for lots of amenities this isn't it. It's VERY over priced but charming. It's beautifully decorated but has an OLD oder about it. Our room was fine but there was definitely a smell in parts of the hotel. We we're... More

My daughter had her wedding reception at the Water Street Inn, this place did not disappoint at all. Start to finish everything was perfect. Allison the event coordinator was wonderful. She was available for any questions. The room was perfectly decorated, the food was amazing. We had a suite upstairs and the room was very nice and clean. I would... More

We totally got sold out! My husband and I booked this room on the 4th of July, on the way to Stillwater. We were told that there was one room left. The most exclusive suite on the property. Queen size 4 poster bed and our own " private patio to watch the fireworks over the river". Quoted $409 per night.... More
