We spent one night with 3 other couples at the Inn. We stayed in room 201 in the newer part of the hotel. Room was ok and clean, but smelled stale and the king bed was too soft. The towels were thin and worn. Two of the couples stayed in the historic section. While I can understand eclectic, the decor... More

My rating of this hotel is actually a 3.5 but since that's not an option we'll round up. It is pretty much exactly as I expected based on the other reviews that I had read. I traded charm for quality and stayed in one of the renovated rooms based on recommendation. One nice thing about the website is each room... More

Location is great in Stillwater. I like old historical charm but this was a little too Victorian for me. Looked like an old Grandmas place and the lobby furniture was in the same condition.Sorry Grandma. And it's all over the place with decor. The newer building where we stayed had cool huge b&w prints on the wall that looked more... More

Phone reservation made in April 2015 for September 2015, no verbal mention of "cancelation penalty" to be paid regardless of any emergency. Email confirmation lost in junk mail with the message of the Inn's "cancelation penalty". I canceled reservation via phone August 2015 more than 1 month in advance and STILL was not told of "cancelation penalty". Email then arrived... More

Recently stayed in Room 225 for a night with my wife. This historic hotel is definitely high on charm, with a great-looking exterior and lots of woodwork and historical decor. The staff was VERY friendly and the location of the hotel (within easy walking distance to the historic downtown) made it a great "base" for our trip to Stillwater. That... More

The room was modest size, and decorated in Victorian fashion. Rather charming. Parking was a pain. There is a small parking ramp next door, and a door accessing the Inn on the second floor. You take the ticket you have just gotten downstairs to the front desk and he gives you a prepaid ticket. Up, down, up, down. The place... More

Very nice. The hotel staff was small and kind. I think they had a bit of trouble with upkeep. The hotel was pretty clean and well worth the money. Our room was cute and small we enjoyed it. I loved the historic aspect and the fact that the the hall was connected to the parking area. Recommended!!

We stayed in the 'new' section. Rooms were very nice and clean and sufficiently large. Service was pretty decent, though we waited about 10 minutes at the front desk to check in. And the free 'coffee' available on the second floor is absolutely undrinkable! But overall, we had a good stay and would stay there again.

Absolutely perfect historic getaway experience. Interesting and unique room furnishings. Lobby, dining area and meeting rooms were like stepping back in time. Everything was very clean. Service was excellent--friendly and warm. Dining was more than fine. The food was outstanding. Best I have had anywhere and I travel the U.S. We look forward to the next time!

We had a room in the new section, it was nice , but small, the people working were friendly and had good advice for local spots to try. The restaurant on site had a good breakfast, many locals seemed to fill the place. Overall I would say it was nothing fancy, but a quaint historic hotel in a fun little... More
