Lots of Shady spots, so many trees in this caravan park it was lovely. Good Toilets and Showers, Showers a little squeezy but still good pressure. If you get up at sunsrise you can go to the beach and see all the kangaroos, we got up early to see them, it was good. If you don't get up to see... More

Where else in the world can you walk through a rainforest, then along a beach and see no other person in site! Admittedly it was winter and mid week, but 23deg days is not hard to bare! Especially for a Victorian. The cabins are very old but our's (#5) had just been renovated and was excellent, clean, comfortable and you... More

Here's the thing - This place is not flash. It doesn't pretend to be. But this local can assure you that it is the friendliest, most helpful place on our Queensland coastline. There are very few resorts in the Whitsunday region that are affordable for families on a budget - but this is one of them. Not only are the... More

We didn't know what to expect , and ended up staying a week, great caravan sites, friendly staff, close to beach, great to see the kangaroos on the beach and in the park, kookaburra and possum was an added plus. We will be back as we Loved the park.

We stayed in one of their "huts" which look like they are probably converted shipping containers. Internally, they are adequate, but the view of the beach from the veranda is pretty. The huts are the fixed features of a camping and caravanning site along with a small shop. It is in a remote area, the nearest small town is Seaforth... More

Thanks for your feedback NickLz and our return guests agree with you about the pretty view from the veranda. We take a lot of pride in our park and as you probably saw during your stay we are currently undergoing renovations to the whole park which is rather exciting for both us and our guests! We hope to welcome you... More

There is no doubt that this is a wonderful resort for nature lovers, our experience was spoilt by the Family Beach Cabin we stayed in which was in need of updating, our adult son and daughters' bedroom was just inside the entrance door and had no furniture apart from 2 beds, our bedroom was furnished but had the bathroom access... This is a family run park. There are a variety of accommodation styles available. Facilities are tidy and well maintained. Staff are friendly. The selling point is the access to nature. In the hour before sunrise every morning, kangaroos gather on the beach to rake the wet sand for mangrove seed pods to supplement a diet left short of key... More

How wonderful it is to share my childhood memories with my own children. The natural environment has not changed (apart from a few missing trees due to cyclones). The resort pool is awesome, large shady sites, clean amenities and very friendly staff. Ben had all the time in the world to stop and have a chat with not only us... More
