Arrived during Sunday lunchtime and just wanted a snack after having completed the Idle Valley ramble. We were offered a selection of sandwiches and chose the roast pork and apple sauce. I've never had such a tasty pork sandwich, and it was incredibly good value. The welcome was friendly and atmosphere great. I would certainly recommend the Bluebell Inn.

Went for a nice meal and was not disappointed, now been most weeks as this place as it all. They make you feel so welcome, excellent service, very good food and a very nice price. Give this place ago. You will be like us and become regulars.

Would recommend this to anyone who wants excellent home cooked food, good beer and welcoming staff. Visited many times and always a warm welcome and great quality food in relaxed atmosphere. Has traditional bar are and eating area, family and dog friendly in traditional village pub style but definitely not old fashioned either.

My husband booked this for a valentines meal as a surprise. It was dark when we arrived but walked inside to a lovely homely bar/restaurant. Although newcomers we were welcomed like family. There was a log burner keeping it cosy. We were showed the menu by the owner to be surprised for a quiet country pub dug a lot of... More

Visited for an evening meal. Excellent "pub food". Well cooked, well presented and very enjoyable. Will definitely be visiting again. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced good quality meal from a varied menu.

We are locals and so pleased to find a pub with good beer and food. The Kelham Island brewery beer was good served by Ivor, the landlord. Joanne, his wife, was front of house for the food and obliged with advice and personal mixed choices. My choice of sea bass, prawns and mussels was excellent and amazing value. Others had... More

The rooms were big, spacious and clean having everything you need for a perfect night away. the breakfast was plentiful having cereal, fruit, pastries and yoghurt! A true feast. We stayed here for the weekend with the Notts Centre Caravan Club. We were well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. The meals were lovely and such excellent service. Thank you for a great weekend and we hope to see you next year.

We have visited the pub a few times recently but only last night did we eat there for the first time, this after hearing good reports and seeing how busy the place had been for ourselves. The lounge area was very busy again but the lady in charge soon found us a place to sit whilst a table became available.... More

We stayed here for two nights and were very impressed with the quality of the rooms and the food. The rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast provided more than adequate. We had Sunday lunch in the pub and the food and service was excellent. The owners Ivor and Joanne were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely say again... More
