This place is fantastic! I booked a cabin based on a recommendation from my sister who described Tettegouche camp as "storybook" and "cute as can be." She was spot on! You have to hike into camp with all your belongings so definitely pack light. The trek in is tough with quite a few long, sloping hills. Once you complete the... More

We have packed in to Tettegouche Camp three times and have a trip planned for May 2014. You must bring your own food and gear and the road in manages to be uphill both coming and going! We do a lot of backpacking camping, but are not fond of backpacking foods, so we add the extra weight for these trips... More

Three adults (40, 52, 67) and 2 boys who are 10 put on their snowshoes, packed their two sleds with food and sleeping gear and hiked the 1.7 miles to the cabins, up the long hill (about 300 feet elevation change) and then down the long hill to the Cabin C in 1 1/4 hours of hard work.
