The check-in was unprofessional. It had been prepaid. Yet, the person at check-in couldn't figure out how that worked. The hallways smelled like cat urine. The room was very cold and when I requested an extra blanket they didn't have one. There were not electrical outlets one could get to other than in the bathroom. No iron even though they... More

Was quoted 65.....surprise.....85. Counter lady was the rudest ever. Even the parking lot smells like smoke.....Avoid. The room appears clean, aside from the smell....just very old. There is a fridge and microwave....

Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean rooms. 24 restaurant/bakery across the street, also very close to a burger King, McDonald's and superamerica. The Internet needs some work and the hotel is near a train but the sound is short lived. The price is well worth the room. If I ever had to be in Shakopee again I would definitely stay there.

We were in the area to see a concert and the prices at the venue for rooms were outrageous, so we took a chance on this hotel pretty near by. The lobby and hallways still smell like smoke from back when it was allowed, but the non-smoking room we had had no odor. The rooms are fairly small, but they... More

Made a reservation. Told the price would be $46 a night discounted from $60 and the actual cost was $70. I had no choice but to pay. Complained to the corporate office. They said they'd look into it (actually responding pretty quickly), ... and that was the last I heard from them. Internet (wireless only) worked about half the time... More

We were treated wonderfully by the hotel manager, Jeanna. She made it feel like we were with family. And she always referred to us by our first names. That, we thought was genuine. The rooms were clean and comfortable and continental breakfast was great. I loved the walk behind the hotel along the Minnesota River. Give it a 5.

Upon arriving at the hotel to check in i was greeted by a not so friendly front desk agent. She was very short with me and didn't give me any information besides where the room was located. First appearances of the room were promising, but this wasn't the case when i pulled the comforter back and there was hair all... More

At checkout;I was asked by the front desk staff to write a review about the property. I had written a review here couple of years back so here is my opinion. I was happy with my stay and would certainly come back to stay here again. It is a place with basic amenities but neat and clean. The prices are... More
