Really nice people! A bit rustic, but well with the trip. We had a very nice and quiet site. Do yourself a favor and go up the hill to the bakery for breakfast. From our site, it was a one minute walk to Lake Superior and a very nice stone beach. I am confident that my family will return next summer!

I always cringe when places like this include the term "resort" in their description. To me, resort implies some sort of amenities and luxury. While Lamb's is a nice, well-kept property, there are neither amenities nor luxury, per se. This place is a campground, pure and simple, with a small number of cabins available. The only amenity, other than the... More

This was a great alternative when we couldn't get into the State Parks in the area. The campground was huge (about 100 sites). Most sites were at least separated by some good trees/foliage for such a large campground so it felt a little more private. Location on Lake Superior was great sandwiched between the Cross River and a nice rocky... More

Two families with four kids under 5 stayed the weekend and had an absolute blast. We both tent camped, and because of an upgrade, were able to spend an additional night in Cabin #7. Wow - best camping trip I've had with my family. Large, fully-furnished open cabin with two bedrooms, a sleeper loft for bed #3 and large bathroom... More

My husband and our 3 kids rented cabin 4 with my sister and her family. 8 people total. It was beautiful! The resort is kept so nice, the shower house was the cleanest I've seen at a resort. Staff was very friendly. Cabin 4 is at the very edge of the resort right next to cross river,,, literally. It had... More

Our Family stayed in one of the cabins (#6) that face Lake Superior. There is a large grassy field in front of the cabins and then paths down a hill to the rocky beach. This is a very nice place to go with kids as the other cabins typically fill up with families as well, and they all tend to... More

First time to Lamb's Resort! We were very pleased with Cabin # 2! Facebook has pictures of all the resort layout of cabins/tent/RV areas (Great way of deciding what works best for your family). We had a nice welcome when we arrived, and since it was our first time in the area, the check-in lady was very informative of fall... More

What a great little surprise! The campground was recommended to me by a family member, who has stayed here before. We were so thrilled with our campsite #57. It was literally on the shore of Lake Superior, and we could hear waves crashing throughout the day and night. What a beautiful view! The campsite would snugly fit two good size... More
