Stayed here for two night in Jun, 2015, with my sister and her husband. Room 13 was cozy - heads up, though, as there isn't a door between the bathroom and the one bedroom - or between the bedrooms. The breakfast was tasty. The live music in the bar was great. The public rooms are very pretty with the stained... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here to see if we could catch any ghosts. Though we did not see anything with our own eyes, I do believe I caught some orbs and sounds on camera. I also may have felt something breathing on my neck while I was sleeping, but can't be sure. Overall, our experience was great! Only complaint... More

The Palmer House hotel is an old quirky hotel in the tiny town of Sauk Centre, MN. On face value most people would wonder 'why bother?' and that would be a very good question. However there are many reasons I'd recommend you should visit the hotel and stay at least one night there. I currently live in MSP, some 2... More

My hub & I stayed here for a romantic night. You get a key that lets u into the entire bldg. (which is dark) after hours w/old time music playing, quite fun & spooky! Bar is a must! Get a jacuzzi room. It definitely feels haunted! A MUST in the area!

I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to the staff of the Palmer House. My daughter and I stopped there today for breakfast. Our meals met out expectations, deliciously prepared. The manager on duty, Cara and her staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Worthy of many return visits. Peace be to all those who dwell there.

The Palmer House Hotel in Sauk Centre has it ALL! An old and charming hotel, with a restaurant on one end of the first floor, (off the lobby) and a bar with food menu at the other end. Some nights they have music in the bar area and we learned the patrons there as well as the hotel guests join... More

This hotel opened in 1901 and today is inhabited by a cast of characters who frequent the property! I heard my name mentioned several times, but no one was there. Doors creaked, strange noises abounded and I was even awaked with strange noises in my room! Just the place if you want a haunted experience. I was not a believer... More

We were on our way back from Moorhead Minnesota where we had a private residence Investigation. We stayed over night at the Palmer, we were half way home and very tired, we knew we would be and made the reservation a couple weeks before. The staff and Kelley made us feel like we were at home..We were in room 11.... More

Apparently these caretakers have decided to focus more on their Haunted exploits, and less on their food. My wife and I each ordered a Sandwich for Lunch, not knowing that it was going to be made by what appeared to be a 5 year old. A Rachel with one thin slice of Deli Meat, and a Cuban swimming in Barbeque Sauce. The... More

We stayed at the Palmer House on Sept 19-21 and this was an amazing adventure. Kelley and staff are the most caring and enthusiastic group we have ever encountered. Not only did they make you feel comfortable but that would visit with you as if you were family. We stayed in rooms 11 and 21 and we defiantly got our... More
