Have stayed here numerous time while in business in St Paul. The bed linen is fantastic, food is outstanding and the beds are very comfy. It's not cheap but it is worth every penny when you get there.

While in St. Paul for a Fleetwood Mac concert, I stayed here with my daughter and some friends. The rooms are decorated in a traditional style, very clean and nice. Front desk staff were very accommodating, as were the concierge and the valet parking attendants. We were able to quickly check in, check out, and retrieve our cars. One thing... More

An attractive building with large guest rooms, this tasteful hotel offers a premium experience and value for money. Rooms with views towards the park are the best. Easy access to restaurants and the ice hockey stadium. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

In mid-December our nephew was married at the J.J.Hill Library in downtown St Paul, MN (a structure beautiful of its own right). Just across the street you find the historic St. Paul hotel. If its your pleasure to step back in time, I highly recommend this hotel. We arrived in early evening and waited a very short time only to... More

I always stay at the Saint Paul when visiting clients in St. Paul, MN. This hotel is always clean spotless and comfortable. The staff is always very hospitable. It has a cool bar, a great restaurant and a lunch buffet style cafe (my favorite). The rooms are mini-suites and they have fancy nuts and snacks, coffee etc. Room service is... More

We were looking for a place to stay Downtown, for families this hotel is a great location. We booked a King with a rollaway for our daughter, and while it was $25 more a night, it was better than two double beds. Rooms are smaller however typical for this age of hotel so charming. Lobby is nothing special, decent lobby... More

Four of us enjoyed the Holiday Tea on a Sunday morning at 11:00. This is done a short distance from the reservation desk in the lobby area - it was a bit distracting with people coming off the elevators with luggage carts. There was a pianist at a grand piano playing during the experience which was very nice. The servers... More

We have added some additional plants in the lobby to address some to the privacy you mentioned. I hope you keep The Saint Paul Hotel on the top of your list for future special occasions. I was in town for two days of business and colleague booked this room for me. I'm a Marriott Gold member so that is my standard first choice. Glad I had an an opportunity to stay here for a change of pace. The rooms, service, staff are all top notch. Gym also has plenty of first-rate equipment. I was surprised... More

We have stayed at this hotel several times and over the holiday we attend the theater in Minneapolis and stayed in St. Paul, which is the best plan when visiting the Twin Cities. On weekends the hotel is a buzz of activity (weddings, high tea, etc.). The staff is extraordinarily helpful; the room was clean and "classy" and the park... More

This hotel is a gem and really harkens back to the way hotels used to be. Wonderfully clean and large rooms. The executive king is gigantic. Service is perfect, plenty of staff present at every turn. Free business center which is nice. Can't say enough.
