Phenomenal stay. Great staff, delectable food, and a beautiful hotel. Very accommodating to guests. Jaw dropping rooms, attentive and precise room service, and charming little quirks such as classical music playing in room as you entered. More expensive, but worth every dollar! Slept wonderfully after the show in a large bed with many pillows. The staff was very considerate and... More

We stayed at the Saint Paul in prep for American Queen steam boat tour on the Mississippi. this hotel is first class. Every one saw very friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful, clean and well appointed including the large bathroom. They were very helpful telling us what was happening in the city that day and how to us the... More

Doorman in a top hat; quiet, handsome room with nice touches - chair with ottoman, olive oil soap, a thermostat that works (!); good mirrors and lighting for makeup in the bathroom - amazing to get all this right. Latte available early, papers, dessert late - what's not to like?

While we live in a Minneapolis suburb we had decided to do an over night get away at the St. Paul Hotel since we hadn't been in downtown St. Paul since 2002. What a surprise. We expected the hotel to still be Victorian, and it is. Great history but if one wants and up to date hotel this isn't it.... More

One of my favorite hotels to stay at! The hotel is so beautiful inside, especially around the Holidays. The hotel is within waking distance of Xcel energy center which is nice! We always enjoy lunch or dinner at the St Paul grill while we are staying there.

It was a nice room - nothing over the top but very nice. We didn't eat breakfast there because it was too $$ but we went to a nice cafe across the street for coffee and muffins. It did have a fantastic exercise room with a view of the city!

I wanted to like The Saint Paul Hotel because its a grand old hotel and looks pretty cool from the outside, but I was less than thrilled. The hotel could really benefit from being updated, because everything seems to be from the mid-1970s, from the room décor to the look of the lobby. Oh, and the WiFi was abysmal; the... More

On our online reservation, I made the comment that we were celebrating our 10th anniversary. When we arrived in our room on the 11th floor with a view looking out over Rice Park, we were surprised to find a platter of "tuxedo strawberries" (white & milk chocolate dipped) and two red roses waiting for us, as well as a personally... We were out of town guests at the St. Paul Hotel for a family wedding. The staff could not have been more gracious and helpful. Just the hotel's incredible floral displays alone are worth spending an evening there. Lighted candles. Sparkling chandeliers. Just gorgeous. Beds and linens luscious. We would especially like to acknowledge Kevin who took care of our... More

I helped to host a national convention here at the St. Paul Hotel. They have ample space for breakout meetings or seminars. A nice tea bar in the main foyer. Both an upscale and moderately priced restaurant on the premises that both serve excellent food and drink. Valet parking is available and reasonably priced. The rooms were recently remodeled with...
