There is something about this hotel- it's so romantic and feels so luxurious the moment you step in. We stayed overnight as wedding guests and wished we could have enjoyed the room and hotel more. Nice comfortable bed, nice toiletries. The room was a bit small, but we didn't mind. Would stay again!

*This is a redo of a previous review of The Saint Paul Hotel. My original review definitely raised some eyebrows, and I’ve found myself being followed/stalked thru social media by the hotel. Therefore, while not backing down from my general sentiment of the hotel – I’ve decided to take on a different twist* And before I go on my rant... More

Located in the heart of St. Paul, this hotel is older, but classy. It is a very unique hotel and located very close to the Xcel Energy Center. Staying here in the winter is always nice because the park out front looks great covered snow and adorned in lights.

My husband purchased a stay here through a silent auction benefit. We opted to book for a night when we had concert tickets at the Xcel Energy Center nearby. The hotel has beautiful, historic architecture and is conveniently located near Xcel Center (we walked/ran the two blocks...it was quite cold in late February 2014). I have no complaints about staff... More

I've been visiting my daughter in college for the last 4 years and have stayed in more than 10 different hotels in the Twin Cities. We saved the St. Paul for graduation weekend. Several folks raved about their experience here. The rooms are on the small side. The view is not the greatest. The bathroom is small. The parking is... More

Dear B0pper, Thank you for taking time reviewing our hotel. I do hope you are able to return during a time when we have less demand and congestion. If we are fortunate to be able to serve you again, I would suggest using the Valet Parking which is the same cost as self parking. That would eliminate the steps to... More

I chose the Saint Paul hotel because I prefer charm and unique to the cookie cutter off the shelf hotels. I found it to be such a beauty. The interiors are gorgeous and scream old world charm. I was lucky enough to get there in time for their afternoon tea (even if you can't stay in the hotel I would... More

I stayed with my son at the St Paul Hotel this weekend as part of a group of people attending a wedding in St Paul. It has a feeling of elegant lodging that knows how to provide a quality experience, every time. The rooms were $150 a night and given it was downtown St Paul and excellent service, the value... Stayed here for 3 nights in late March for a business trip. I had a room on higher floor with a view of the park, high rise buildings, and the Mississippi River. Very convenient location and room was spacious and very comfortable. As the hotel was packed and my room was near the elevators, I was afraid there would be... More

My husband and I took a 'staycation' at The Saint Paul Hotel in March, booking a Landmark Suite for two nights. We had an absolutely delightful stay. The room was spacious and exceedingly comfortable, with windows overlooking Rice Park to the west and Landmark Plaza to the north. We ate at the M St. Cafe both mornings and highly recommend... This is a favored hotel. I used to love meeting my Grandparent's at the hotel's restaurant- The Grille - for an elegant family dinner; the hospitality of the staff with the fancy bellman at the door - always make you feel special; and ultimately, my husband & I spent our wedding night here, now over 26 years ago. It's how... More
