This is a typical Embassy Suites. You get free cocktails from 5:30 to 7:30, and a free hot breakfast the next morning. Please tip the person making the cocktails. I saw a few people order 5 or more drinks and never dropped a dollar. If the bartender sees a tip they do make a strong drink. The free breakfast was... more

The hotel is nice but the atrium is loud. The hotel is not connected to the skyway which can be a problem in the winter months. The hotel is starting to show its age in the rooms (air conditioner duct system dirty, linens look like they are from your grandmothers home, etc... Overall the hotel is a nice hotel and... more

My wife and I needed to stay in St. Paul for a weekday evening in June 2008, and we had enough Hilton Honors points for a night at the Embassy Suites. I have stayed at Embassy Suites before. In general, it is a good brand, but like so many of the upper-middle brands, some of the properties are really not... more

I settled on this hotel after reading some of the reviews and seeing the ranking. I was in Saint Paul for business so I only was in the hotel in the mornings and evenings. Overall the hotel was nice, clean and in a good location for my work. There was easy access to the major roads and the parking was... more

I was looking for a hotel in St. Paul to celebrate my husband's birthday. We usually stay at the St. Paul Hotel but it was full. This site rated the Embassy Suites as the #2 hotel so I went to their website and it looked nice. I can tell you that the website does not do this property justice. The... more

We were attending an event in the downtown St. Paul area and decided on this hotel. It was a little pricey, but pretty nice overall. The price does include a buffet-style breakfast and a cocktail hour in the early evening (which we didn't attend due to time constraints), and it is a suite hotel, which is nice when you have... more

I stayed at the St. Paul downtown Hilton because I was looking for a hotel that would be a close driving distance to the MN state fair. When calling the reservations line I was trying to use my St. Paul fun card (free from the St. Paul chamber website) but the lady on the phone was nice enough to tell... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night in August so we could check out capitol, St. Paul's Cathedral, other downtown sites. Hotel was in okay location--sites above were walkable, but it was hot the afternoon we were there, so the few extra blocks to hotel made a difference. There was a wedding reception at the hotel the night... more

We have been to this Embassy suites on a few prior occasions. It is a classy looking hotel with great employees. We did not get the exact side of the building that we wanted, but the windows did not get much use anyway. They have a small pool and hot tub which we didnt use this time. (Broken arm on... more

Great staff, This was our first stay here. We come to St Paul at least twice a year to visit our daughter. The suites were comfortable, even a vanity sink in the bedroom. Comfortable beds, good working space and rooms fresh and clean. Restaurant food and price good but wine list overpriced. The buffet breakfast is ample. The hotet is... more
