Front desk employees seemed aloof when noticing our travel agency, we had pre-paid for our room. Room was fine, not elaborate but clean and functional. The fan in the bathroom had no switch to turn it off and it was very noisey. The surprise came at check-out when a bill was slipped under the door for $60.00 parking. It was... more

The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was so clean. We are Priority Club Members so we were on the top floor over looking the St Paul Cathedral. It was a beautiful sight. We parked the car at the hotel lot and walked to the Ordway Theater, dinner at the wonderful Downtowner Woodfire Grill. and to the Children's Theater... more

We were unable to get the heat to work in our room. It was so cold we could not take our heavy coats, scarves and hats off! They sent someone up to try to fix the heat but by midnight they were unable to. At this point they told us the hotel was sold out and they would have to... more

We were at the hotel for 8 nights in January at US Figure Skating Championships. Joined Holiday Inn Priority Club (free) prior to reservations to get Priority Club room. Nice, good sized, room on 5th floor facing the River. Bathroom a little small, but everything very clean. Had trouble with heating unit, so hotel replaced it (twice). Mtce guys told... more

It seems a lot of people have had trouble with noise at this hotel. We had people loudly talking in the corridor until 2 am during our stay. It was a hockey night though. Hotel staff very friendly and courtesy van is a great convenience. Aside from noise we had a perfect hotel experience. more

I have to echo some of the previous review that compliment the customer service. Each person at the desk did a wonderful job and my room was kept clean. I have three examples that I will share. I was ironing a shirt in the room when I noticed this brown staining appearing on my shirt. I turned the iron over... more

The hotel is your standard Holiday Inn. Keep your expectations in check, and it's a bed and a bath. The location is great, the Liffey Pub in the lobby is good. Staff are friendly and courteous. The Gym consists of two treadmills, an orbital and a small weight machine. Same as the hotel... It's basic, but does the job. The... more

Meh. Not bad, not extraordinary. Anyone walking by your door and talking can be heard and I had to physically adjust the box with all the wires in it at the back of the dusty tv to get good reception and sound. The upside is it's direct proximity to Liffy's Irish Pub on street level which serves above-average fare in... more

Only one small mishap in the entire 5 night visit - a missed wake up call - but we backed up with cell phone alarm anyway. No real noise problems despite hockey games during our visit. On one occasion we were awakened by noise in the corridor but this was not extraordinary or long lasting and of the type that... more

It was okay. Went for a 3 day conference. Nice location, but the room walls were thin. And then then were 'sold out' of the conference rate. That was weird! But the night staff was more the accomodationg, even when my cell phone charger died. They brought out a entire box of left over chargers for me. Again it was... more
