This is one of the more reasonable places to stay outside of St. Paul. The front desk was great and the room was okay but well worn. The in room frig was a little noisy but all in all, it wasn't bad. What was a big shock was the height of the shower. I'm not tall (5' 9") but the... More

I stayed at this hotel on January 17 to the 20th and what a great time i had. The front desk staff was extra friendly and would go out of there way to make sure that your needs were taken care of. I think that everyone that is at the Front Desk deserves an award for great customer service. hint... More

This place is not paradise, but for less than $40 a night it's OK if you don't plan to spend too much time in the room. The pluses are that the nightly rate is cheap thru any of the online reservation systems "secret" or "undisclosed" hotel options. The location is convenient to both downtowns, the U of M, State Fair,... More

The room was large, but dark, and had a bad smell. I suspect that it is a former smoking room. The room was reasonably clean, and the housekeeping woman was friendly and did a good job. Number of towels provided was minimal (two thin ones for two people). Pillows were very low quality. The water pressure in the shower was... More

We have used this motel several times in the past but have not stayed there in over a year until last weekend. We had a coffee maker that didn't work and a clock that wouldn't stop blinking. The Internet connection was only available in the breakfast room. The breakfast room has been remodeled but fewer tables are now available for... More

This hotel is close to the State Fair and front desk staff were friendly and helpful but the positives end there. The hotel is in dire need of updating. The room was marginally clean if that. There was dirt on the doors and walls and BR floor. There was gum stuck on my headboard, my box spring had stains on... More

I have to travel to MN once per month for work. Originally I picked it for the price, which is very decent. It was one of those things that I thought I'd give a try. I now look forward to coming here each month because the staff is wonderful, rooms are comfortable...older, but very clean. They recently remodeled the Lobby... More

I booked our room for this hotel 2 months in advance for a non smoking king. When I went to check in they told me the only room they had available was a non smoking queen. I told them that is not what i reserved. They told me they don't reserve a bed type just a room. When we went... More

I am truly sorry for our lack of execution in this instance. I can assure you all that it is not typical for our property. After researching this reservation I have found that the guest booked threw a third party website. I would encourage all guests to book their rooms through the property or brand website directly to ensure the... More

This is a dependable hotel. It is by no means fancy or extravagant, but it is clean & comfortable and we can rely on it. The staff is VERY friendly & very responsive to questions & needs. Rooms are very basic, but clean. Continental breakfast provides what you need to start the day, including waffles, juice, rolls, cereal & coffee. More
