If you are looking for a place close to St. Mary's....just book it!....We stayed 2 nights....( hubby had to stay at the hosp.) and I have just booked Springhill again for my return trip. The hotel is clean, rooms are nice (the two-doubles is larger, w/separated sitting area) ....staff is friendly and the breakfast lady keeps the sausage & egg... more

It was a very hard time for us, but we had a very nice stay here. They were very nice. It was a little out dated but it was great for the price. We really liked the location too! more

This hotel was adequate, but not great. The "suite" was very small. This is not a true "suite" in the sense that there is no door between the sleeping area & the sitting area. This was really important for us because my 15 month old daughter was with us, so we wanted her to be able to sleep in a... more

Thank you for your comments. We are glad that you found our staff to be very friendly and helpful. We pride ourselves on offering “Outrageous Guest Service” and feel it sets us apart from our competition. We will definitely take a look at the issues you noted and see what adjustments we can make to improve future stays.

This hotel is the all suites Springhill Suites but keep in mind it's not as nice as the Courtyard down the street. This hotel has free parking along with the breakfast but other than that I would pay a little more to sta at the Courtyard. Overall this hotel OK. Rooms were clean but entryway is dirty, outdated silk flowers... more

We've had 2 stays in February/March, each for 10 days, and really enjoyed the hotel. The staff was so accomodating. We came for the Mayo Clinic so we were under a lot of stress. This hotel clearly caters to the Mayo patients. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They even cleaned snow off the cars.... more

Liked: Guestroom doors do not slam, brightly lit hallways, room painted sunny yellow color, comfy soft beds, separate desk area far from beds, nice continental breakfast, super clean public areas, sun pours in even number windows in AM. Did not like: Open closet in room, no name in room coffee, one slow elevator, closet designed as a business center, popcorn... more

We should have known something was amiss when check-in consisted of signing a paper about not partying after 10 at night. Since this hotel is right across the street from St. Mary's Hospital and the Mayo Clinic shuttle stops at the front door, we thought Springhill suites would cater to people trying to remember when their next medical appt. was... more

We stayed at this hotel for a kids tournament. Upon arriving, the staff was rude to me at check in. They offered no help with parking, (which is limited,) and made no effort to tell me where to park safely. We all had to sign "conduct forms", concerning curfews, smoking etc, which I am happy to do. After a late... more

A family member was having heart surgery at St. Marys and we stayed at the Springhill Suites in Rochester for 5 nights. The location is great, across the street from St Mary's hospital and about a mile away from the Mayo Clinic in downtown Rochester. Our room was about the same size as a regular hotel room, but the layout... more

Arriving from NYC with a terrible hotel experience, everything was fine at this hotel. Good value, welcoming staff helped a lot. Obviously not a luxury hotel but great for the price, clean, quiet rooms. Will definitely return. more
