Stayed at the Rochester Marriott a total of 4 nights while my dad was going thru testing at Mayo clinic. The treatment we received from the staff at the Rochester Marriott was amazing. Having our bags taken to the room, our car parked and just asking how they could make things better for us (and genuinely mean it) made our... More

For a Marriot, the Marriot at Mayo is a bit outdated but the Staff goes above and beyond any hotel experience that I've ever had to ensure ones comfort and peace of mind. I stayed there with my Mother while I was visiting the Clinic for about three weeks and I actually had a hard time saying goodbye to some... More

If you are visiting Mayo Clinic, this hotel is just steps from the Clinic. Connected by the subway systems, and very close if your not up to much walking. Rooms are very nice, and wonderful beds. Just remember to bring a make up mirror and maybe a back up hair dryer. Really lacked anywhere for the ladies to put on... More

Excellent place to stay. Would like to thank Tiffant and Matt for there fine service helping us out. Very nice breakfest service and happy hour and they had a room on 8th floor where you could access all th time for coffee, pop, water, fruit so that was so nice.

excellent proximity to the Mayo Clinic. Here for almost a month housekeeping from Basma 9th floor and Sue 7th floor was outstanding. Very professional, courteous, pleasant and helpful. Bellmen Jake better than outstanding and always accommodating and helpful . Steve Glyn Bob and Matt outstanding as well. Front Desk with John was never a problem. He was more than helpful... More

So this wasn't a terrible experience but something needs to balance the ratings! Soft bed, poor office seat, bad internet. These things should be staples! How do you have bad internet in a place that charges over $300 a night?? Even when you pay for it (which drives me crazy to begin with!). The only thing that redeems this hotel... More

Overall it's a standard Marriott - so that means great service, good rooms, comfortable beds and good facilities. But it's a soulless and slightly tired down-town building, no views and little atmosphere. However, it's serving a purpose being very close to the hospital so expectations need to be set appropriately. Gold-card holders can access the small concierge lounge where free... More

Thank you for your comments about the service, rooms and comfortable beds. I do apologize for the noisy air conditioning unit and the fluctuating water temperature, I have shared your feedback with Engineering so they can look into these issues. Thank you for being a loyal Marriott Guest and we look forward to serving you in the future. More

Each year we travel to Rochester for a basketball tournament. The hotel is full of 5, 6, 7 and 8th grade boys and their families. The hotel has been very accomodating. More importantly quiet. I never notice the occupants in the rooms on either side of us. The rooms are clean and comfortable as you'd expect from Marriot. As a... More

Very close to the Mayo downtown. I usually do my best to find all the positives, but this is a good Marriott, and not a great Marriott. Parking is really poor. You have to find a public ramp. I ended up parking in the ramp across the street from the shared one with the other hotel. Very small area to... More

Thank you for your review during your recent visit. My apologies for the construction in the hallways, we are in the process of changing our vinyl in the hallways, the parking and for the smell of the first room you were in. I am happy the second room was clean and not on the same floor as the construction crew... More

Hotel was convenient to weekend basketball tournament. Walking distance of restaurants and churches. Parking is shared with the Kahler hotel and was good and tight. Struggled to find not only a spot, but the actual ramp itself. Not very well marked. Booked a two queen room with pullout back in December for our family of five. Arrived that evening to... More

Thank you for your review during your recent stay. My apologies that we were unable to accommodate you with a room with two queen beds and the issues with the ramp our guests use. I am happy that the location worked out well for you for the basketball tournament. In future travels to Rochester for team events please contact me... More
