The management sucks in clarion in. Staffs were confused and unhelpful. Manager was never there if guest have any questions or concern. Rooms were dirty, outdated and bad smelling. The bathroom including entire motel needs serious renovation.

Although the room was spacious, the facilities at the Clarion Inn were seriously outdated. The bathroom needs some tender loving care. This hotel was clean enough, but could use more of a "deep clean."

Room was clean and quiet and had some upgrades such as granite counter top in bathroom, microwave and fridge in room. Carpet, bathroom tile, popcorn ceilings and noisy heater could use an upgrade. Room we were given was not cleaned. Light switch did not work. When we asked where to park, we were told as close to the front door as possible. Our room was an outside room on the other side of the hotel.I moved the car. Won't stay again.

If you are looking for a resort or an elegant hotel - go somewhere else. Do not book this hotel on line...you will be charged more. And forbid you have to change your plans due to medical issues if you pay in advance they will not give a refund. The hotel needs a good cleaning if you are ill and need to go to Mayo perhaps not a good idea to stay here.

No surprise, the Mayo Clinic is a major reason for going to Rochester. Clinic visits can be stressful. The Clarion's easy access to the Clinic, clean rooms, and thoughtful staff ready with a kind smile, eased our stress. Plus the price was fair.
