The Residence Inn was a lovely place to stay, and everyone was very helpful. I appreciated the kitchen staff; they checked ingredients in several of the foods to insure that gluten wasn't present. I ate breakfast every morning for two weeks and was completely safe. Staff was also prompt in bringing my husband and me any needed item. Tru, our... More

Our guest room was large, clean and inviting with a fireplace. The front desk agent Steven was very professional and helpful with directions and parking options. I would highly recommend staying here. Could use some warm weather.

We had a studio room with a Queen bed and a sofa bed in the living area. It has a full kitchen and supplies dishes, glassware and pots and pans. Studio was very spacious and included a flat screen TV and a gas fireplace. In the cold Minnesota winter, it was a cosy option. They also have a complimentary hot... More

We stayed at the The Residence Inn for approximately 60 nights. We didn’t realize how convenient and perfect this hotel would be for us. Initially after transplant my husband had two appointments each day and with the hotel connected to the hospital by subway it was perfect for us! We didn't have to deal with parking or going out into... More

If you have a medical problem and your local doctors can't fix you, you go to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. It doesn't matter what part of the world you're from. Once you've gotten to Mayo, there's the problem of where you're going to stay. If you can, you stay at a hotel on the Subway. No, it's not... More

If your looking for an extended stay this is it! the front desk people are great. Richard and Steve will make sure you have everything you need. They serve a great breakfast every morning and a light dinner meal Monday through Wednesday. Great rooms, clean rooms, work out area and connected to the Mayo subway, (tunnel) system.

I have stayed at this property twice, and I am planning a third stay over the holidays. Since I have stayed at many different hotels in Rochester, I guess you could say I am a fan! It's not the best Residence Inn I have ever stayed at. It really needs a renovation. Badly. However, the rooms are large, the hotel... More

We chose this because it was a Marriot and close to Mayo. We had to prepay our 3 days, there was no other option. Mayo changed our appointments, moving one day to the following week. The hotel refused to take our 3 rd prepaid day and move it to the following week causing us to lose $190 dollars. The place... More

We've stayed in four hotels in Rochester so far, and Residence Inn is one of our favorites. The room was huge, with a handy kitchenette--even wine glasses and fabric napkins. Plus a full breakfast and an afternoon snack. (Although the woman who checked us in didn't tell us about the snack and we went out for pasta, then came back... More

We travel to Mayo Clinic every fall. We normally stay at a different hotel but we decided to stay closer to Mayo this trip. It was a block walk through the tunnel to Gonda and Charlotte buildings and was great since we had time to come back to the room between appointments. They do have free breakfast however we did...
