Our 1st room too noisy as piece of equip under room malfunctioned. One clerk said wait a day -hotel full. We told Alex Al. problem & he arranged our move to quiet room pronto. Mayo Clinic visits are stressful. Alex made all family's rest between hospital & surgery calm & relaxing. Thanks Alex!

The Residence Inn is just two blocks from the Mayo Clinic where my son was having surgery. The suite was comfortable, the staff was most accommodating especially Alex (Al), the front desk clerk. Breakfast was very good and served in a warm, friendly manner. Cocktails and appetizers were served every afternoon. After a long day at the Clinic, we looked... More

We have stayed here many times, and it is always very clean, quiet, and well kept. It has indoor parking when the weather is bad in the winter and it connects via the walking subway tunnels to all of the Mayo Clinic locations. Has great mini kitchen as well. Best place we have found and we will continue to stay... More

Great value and very nice, comfy rooms. I couldn't believe we had a 2 bedroom suite with a living room and kitchen for only ~$200 per night. Three large HD TVs, oven, large refrigerator, sink. Clean and attractive rooms but definitely not romantic (this is downtown Rochester, after all).

We sought to find a quiet roomy location to rehab from surgery at the Mayo facility. Our criteria included having a suite set up and full kitchen. This property delivers on all fronts. Sparkling interiors, daily cleaning services and incredibly friendly and super attentive staff. Kudos to Steven and Alex and the entire staff at this property.

We stayed here again, first time after new management while attending a conference at mayo. Room was mostly clean (table had a bit of easily cleaned up guck on it). Quiet , staff very helpful. Connected easily to mayo buildings by subway. Did not use breakfasts but they smelled and looked good. No pool , but can use those of... More

We could not have had a better experience The staff goes above and beyond to see that all their guests are completely satisfied. They will even do your grocery shopping for free (of course you have to pay for your groceries)! It is only about a block from Mayo and if you want to walk inside, the subway level takes... More

Alejandro, Thank you for the great comments about Alex, he certainly is an asset to the Residence Inn team. Even though we do not have a pool on site, we do have 3 sister properties downtown with pools/hot tubs. Being a guest here grants you access to use their facilities for no charge. We hope you can take advantage of... More

The staff at this hotel was fantastic. We arrived late at night and was put in a room that was very smokey. The person at the front desk (forgot his name) was very accommodating and immediately changed our room. We requested a crib, extra towels and extra pillows and everything was in the room upon our arrival. We needed a... More

My father and I recently completed our third long term stay at Residence inn. As a long term Mayo Clinic patient, my dad has a number of special needs. I have made many strange and unusual requests, and have never been told no. Emily Nicholas (general mgr.) took care of any difficulties that came along, always with a smile and... More

Kevin, We miss you! It was so nice to get to know you over the months you were here. It was always fun laughing with you in the lobby everyday. It is guests like you that really make this a special place to work. We look forward to seeing you when you return in a few weeks! More
