Room was very small, hence the name 'Microtel'. But, for the price it was perfect. Very clean, great service. Would stay again! more

I stayed at the Microtel during a short visit to Rochester and I did not get much sleep because of the noise coming through the paper-thin walls. I could hear the people talking, walking and opening/closing doors in the adjacent room. Even my teenage son who is a heavy sleeper was awakened by the noise. Mind you, the people next... more

We stay here often, as my Mother-in-law has an apartment nearby. It is always clean. The amenities are basic (WIFI, free phone - even long distance) The breakfast is not large and there is no real seating for breakfast. The beds are comfortable. And the value is very good. Probably not a place to stay with kids, but for traveling... more

This is a newer hotel in decent shape. We booked a room w/ a queen bed via their website for $49. The room was small but clean. Enough space for a single night stay for two people. The bed was comfortable. Beware the doors and walls are thin. Roll up a towel and place it at the bottom of the... more

$45/night I stayed here for two nights during the weekend. I wanted a place that was inexpensive as I was traveling alone to visit an old childhood friend. The rooms are small but very clean. Comfortable pillows and room is nicely decorated and up to date. You can hear the people in the next room but they were quiet so... more

The room is tiny, but fine for 1 or 2 people. My queen bed was comfy with 4 pillows, nice newer linens. You can only see the TV while sitting on the bed. The hotel is newer and clean. The walls are thin and I could hear voices and TV in the next rooms. Didn't use the free internet or... more

In the past, we have stayed at the Residence Inn in Rochester, and we love that hotel, but it's quite pricey, especially when we sometimes have long stays while visiting the Mayo Clinic. So on this last trip, we stayed at the Microtel (our first visit to any Microtel) and we were very pleased with the hotel. We were looking... more

When we visit Rochester we stay at Microtel. It is very economically priced and always clean and comfortable. There is no pool, whirlpool, etc and they cater to the business traveler. The mattresses are chiropractor approved and sleep very nice. The rooms are small but always clean. The staff is always pleasant and accomodating also. And they also offer complimentary... more
