I stay at a lot of Candlewood Suites while traveling and this one is just your average Candlewood. I have stayed at better, but would stay at this one again. I love the free laundry and in the suite kitchens. The location of this one is nice too because it's just 5 minutes from Mall of America and about 15... more

I stayed at the Candlewood Suites in May 2008 for a business trip. The hotel was located conveniently off the freeway, but I was a bit nervous driving in that area at night as a solo female traveler. While it probably is not a dangerous area, it still felt a bit isolated from other activity. There is a small shopping... more

This was a date to rekindle a romance and the Candlewood provided just the right ambiance! The location was great and we enjoyed staying in and getting reacquainted. Thanks for everything! more

I stayed in this hotel for 1 day for a business meeting, and did not have an opportunity for many extras, like the pool, etc. The hotel is in a very convenient, but dumpy area. It is just a couple miles from the airport, even closer to Mall of America, and on the south side of the city, which makes... more

We were in Minneapolis visiting some relatives, and this was kind of a last minute trip for us. Most were staying at another chain hotel right around the corner, but the Candlewood Suites cost half as much with larger rooms and kitchenettes. We paid $68 per night, and while I was concerned with staying at a 2-star chain, I was... more

This is my first time in Minnesota folks. If I give rave reviews to the Comfort Inn of Vegas that charges $30 dollars less, why wouldn't I rave about this place? Let's see. I arrived at the perfect time as they were having a fire alarm test and had to hear the hotel manager scream over the sound of the... more

This is our second experience with a Candlewood Suites facility, and both have been equally good. Based on a previous review, I'd say the beds have been upgraded. Ours was wonderful, and we both have bad backs. Service was friendly and their "cupboard," where you can buy snacks, was well-stocked. The room was clean and quiet, and everything worked properly.... more

What a terrific hotel !! We stayed in their junior suite which was a queen size bed, very comfortable recliner chair, large kitchen table, and a full kitchen consisting of stove, micro, full refrig, coffee pot and dishwasher. All of the cooking utensils, plates, glasses, pots, serving dishes were in the cupboards. It was just wonderful to be able to... more

Stayed here taking advantage of a special they were running. Never again. The hotel is fine, the staff very nice and the location easy to access. But here's the thing; you stay at a hotel to SLEEP and we did not get much sleep because the beds are awful! First, we are average sized people, but the bed was a... more

Stayed at the Candlewood Suites in Richfield while home visiting relatives in Minneapolis for one week at Christmas time. Booked in a Priceline package. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel. Some comments on the hotel: 1. Location - Despite being on a freeway (494) and near the airport, the hotel was extremely quiet. I did hear two... more
