We stayed at the Pratt-Taber Inn over the 4th of July weekend in 2009. Our hostess, Deb, was the absolute best. Everything about our stay was wonderful - there was a plate of fresh brownies and homemade rhubarb pie awaiting us when we arrived. The homemade soaps smelled so lovely, and the room was beautiful and like a step back... More

My 12 year old and I took Amtrak from St. Paul to Red Wing for a get-a-way, no car, no computer weekend. We read and hiked, read and shopped, and read and ate. The town had many quaint and interesting things to see/do, but the highlight of the trip was staying with Deb. She has done meticulous work in restoring... More

Owner & Hostess Debbie makes you feel at home immediately in her wonderfully renovated and decorated Pratt-Taber Inn. The breakfast is all you could hope for.

The inn is a brick Victorian with beautiful interior woodwork. Deb has meticulously restored and decorated each room. Bedrooms have sitting areas, marble bathrooms and comfortable beds. Everything is clean and fresh. The thing that impressed me most was the extent to which Deb was able to accommodate individual requests: she offered to have two seatings for breakfast and revised... We went on a friends weekend driving trip up the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi, with Red Wing in mind for our evenings destination. We called the Pratt-Taber Inn after checking for B&Bs at the Tourist Center. lWe were greeted by Deb upon arrival, 5 minutes after calling her for room availability, She was most hospitable. The room was cozy... More

The Pratt-Taber Inn is a Bed and Breakfast meticulously restored with quiet elegance, good taste, and practical comfort. Owner/Innkeeper, Debbie, is the consummate host~the angel is also in the details~ brownies baking on our arrival, gracious in a down-home kind of way. Our room was lovely but not fussy....large enough for several seating areas, inviting us to stay in and... More

My girlfriends and I stayed at the Pratt Tabor Inn for a girls weekend getaway. This place is wonderful. The house is very beautiful and comfortable. Loved IT! The inn keeper Deb is a wonderful lady and we couldn't have asked for a better breakfast. The house is within easy walking distance to downtown shops and eateries!

My husband and I drove to Redwing spur of the moment for a get away, so did a lot of other people because we couldn't find a room. A bed and breakfast referred us to Debbie at the Pratt-Taber Inn. She had just opened and welcomed us to come and stay. The house and rooms are wonderful but the best... More

The Pratt Taber Inn was just what we were looking for! I was traveling from Boston to visit a friend from Faribault and we wanted to spend the night in Red Wing where I was disembarking the train from Chicago at 9 pm. I looked and looked for a place that had twin beds and when I found this inn... More
