Stayed at the Arrowhead lodge 2015 at the end of June. Unfortunately, I only had the time for a one night stay, but Betsey and Larry did a great job of making it great visit. I had pre-purchased one night stay along with dinner/breakfast and tour of Lake Kabetogama, Upon my arrival, Betsey cooked me a delicious home baked chicken... More

If I had a reality show a-la Kardashian family, I would title the episode from this weekend "Two Girls and a Canoe." My friend and I headed up to Voyageurs (b/c we'd never been and it was gorgeous). Arrived later than expected, and Betsey called us to make sure we were making our way well enough in the dark (so... More

Been coming here for 23 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. Great fishing and wonderful hosts. We look forward to our adventure every year. Cabins are clean and well equipped and last year I sent my first night in the a lodge room. The views are amazing.

Picked this resort for family and friends for a getaway fishing trip and I agree with the previous reviews. They gave us excellent fishing advice and the food was excellent. The cabins were nice and clean. The boat dock was right in front of the cabin and had electric right there to charge the trolling motor battery. Will be going... More

We spent 3 days at Voyageurs National Park and had lots of lodges to choose from. We selected Arrowhead mostly because it offered food, a rarity in this isolated part of the country. Betsy was an excellent cook and the breakfasts were to die for, particularly the bacon and pancakes. Homemade desserts were another treat. Loved the lodge built in... More

We stayed there with a family party of 8 people and occupied 3 upstairs rooms in the lodge. The building is old with lots of character. It is not a modern building (for example - the bathrooms are down the hall) but it has loads of charm. The owners truly cater to your needs and make you feel like family.... More

I stayed there in August of 2011 for a fishing trip, and agree with all the previous reviews. The owner Dave and his son helped pack us in to a backcountry lake (and picked us up from the airport in International Falls). Very knowledgeable, friendly, and fair-priced. Dave's wife and mother in law help run the lodge and keep it... More

We stayed here late in July. The family owned Lodge, cabins and small campground are wonderful. They have a great location and do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. They are very friendly and go above any expectations to make your stay comfortable. We rented a pontoon boat for the day and could not find one of the... More

One of the best places I have stayed for a fishing trip. Oldtime lodge, great food and service. The staff made us feel like part of the family.

I have stayed at Arrowhead Lodge for several summers, and it has now become our annual summer destination. Arrowhead Lodge can be distinguished from many of the other properties on Lake Kabetogama. Here are just a few things: The Lodge: The resort is home to a historic log lodge. In it, the owners serve wonderful home-cooked meals (reservations required for... More
