While this casino is the biggest and probably nicest in Minnesota it also one of the tightest in terms of payouts. With all of the recent upgrades made to now serve alcohol it seems the payment plan is via tighter slots and less rewards through their loyalty program. As a gold level player I am lucky to earn $10 in... More

Mystic Lake is the biggest casino in the upper Midwest. They have by far the biggest slot selection and the most to do, other than gamble. I have to say Little Six pays much better and is where you will find the 'locals'. Well, I'm with the locals on this as this is a much more liberal casino. I have... More

My wife and I always make it a point to spend a night or two here while visiting her family in Minnesota every year. A couple years ago they finally changed their alcohol policy and you can now purchase alcohol on-site (I still think you should drink for free while you're gambling). The drink are way over-priced. It's definitely worth... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel is nice and so are the bars and restaurants. The staff was good also. When we checked in, we requested a room with a pullout. We were told only the King rooms had pullouts. The room we were given did not, and we had to rent a roll away. The... More

We took a short road trip to Shakopee and spent the night in a hotel near Mystic Lake Casino. our family decided to have dinner there and afterwards a couple in our party were going to play in the casino so I asked a worker if there was an arcade for kids on-site as I thought I would take the... I typically don't like writing reviews but after our group stay I decided I should. I travel often for work so I have experience on how hotels operate and this stay does not align. I stayed here for a convention and upon arriving I was informed that the rooms don't come equipped with fridges and its first come/ serve basis.... More

Went with a group of ten people for the night and everyone lost between 200 and 1200 bucks in less than 4 hours. In my opinion mystic lake is the tightest casino by far that I have ever been to. All of minnesota seems to be bad compared to Las Vegas and Wisconsin. I don't know if rg state even... More

I just got back from mystic lake casino and I must say because I gamble quite a bit in Wisconsin and Minnesota that this is the worst place I've seen. I just can't win anything there and this is not a one time thing I've stayed there a few times before and the same thing NOTHING!! So now that I've... More

The hotel room was very standard two queen bed room. The price for it I thought was very high, $180+ for a weekend night. Convenient if you want to gamble or see a show and not want to drive home but other than that I would probably not stay again. The room was clean and quiet. It was nice that... More

We decided to spend a night, enjoy the buffet, and play the slots. Our room was very comfortable and quiet! Comfortable beds and a nice hot shower. The buffet was excellent and we even came out ahead on the slots. We enjoyed breakfast at the Minnehaha Cafe. Great value. We'll go again for a little getaway.
