We stay here each spring and fall while on hunting trips to the area. There aren't other options in town. It is clean, the staff friendly, but it's kind of expensive. This past spring the wifi was much stronger than its ever been thanks to upgrades, and the cable TV has been GREATLy improved with a new service, since last... More

A friend and I stayed here for a girls weekend when everything in Lanesboro was booked. It was a very nice place. Clean, friendly, safe. Nothing much exciting as far as being in Preston, but would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here before when it first opened and thought it very nice. It is very convenient for the bike trail. The breakfast is far from healthy, except for the apples. Some yogurt and scrambled or boiled eggs would be a plus. We had issues with our A/C all night the first night, rattling every 20 min to 1/2 hour.... More

There aren't alot of options for places to stay in the Preston, MN area so I chose this place for a stop over on a recent road trip. I should have just kept on going...As we checked in I noticed a sign that basically says " NO DISCOUNTS GIVEN AT THE TIME OF CHECKOUT," I should have taken that sign... More

While drop in accommodations can't always be the best, this Inn did provide a comfortable and clean bed and room. The price was higher then usual for the services provided or not. The spa was not working and no in room coffee or microwave were available. The toaster waffles didn't seem all to appealing.

The pluses: Really friendly and knowledgeable staff; Great SE Minnesota bike trails, a pleasant classic supper club, tourist info and grab-n-go food items all nearby; A decent pool and hot tub area adds a resort feel to this property's cozy small town setting; Preston is a nice base camp amid other nice towns in this area; attractive breakfast area that's... It was clean! ok, that's as much as I really have to say. The place was clean. the staff was almost friendly. The room was clean, but stark. The price was cheap, and the options in Preston are somewhat limited.

We stayed for 2 nights this fall. This is an absolutely no frills motel, with most rooms containing 2 double beds, not even queen sized. We paid $85 per night not including tax, which seemed rather high for what we received. It did however, include a very basic, highly carb filled continental breakfast. A few hard boiled eggs would have... More

I stayed here for work, and was satisfied. The hotel is currently under new management, and they are in the process of making some upgrades which are definitely needed, as the the hotel is beginning to show its age. When I was there, they were working on the pool/hot tub area. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The rooms... More

I stay at this hotel with my employees several times a year. The people who operate this hotel are fabulous. They treat their guests like a host should, and will accomodate special requests (like having the breakfast buffet open early if your hours require it) with a smile and a lot of understanding. My men were working a 20+ hour... More
