Fun Ta Boot just gave root to a few new fisher-girls. Our family just spent a long weekend in a terrific cabin at Fun Tab Boot and I’m pleased to report that between 3 girls (ages 8, 7 and 2) they caught 7 fish. Not bad for a first time effort.

We had a wonderful time. We started the weekend off with a trip to the Itasca National Park and spent most of the rest of our time at the resort. The cabin was clean and quite large. We opted for 2-bedrooms, mostly to avoid sibling wars, and the cabin included a good sized kitchen and a screened-in porch, which is where we had most of our meals. We could see one of the playgrounds from the porch so we could even let the little one enjoy a little independence.
