For the most part, the stay was doable. The room was clean for the most part. The front desk staff was friendly. They have plug in for boats to charge which was nice, but the lot was very small, not much parking for large vehical and trucks with trailers. The lawn was very well taken care of which was nice for my dogs. This is a 2 level motel, but no elevator, so if you have heavy bags, it may be a struggle. Becareful when walking in, the carpet is loose, i almost tripped on it. One thing for the management to consider is, when people have dogs, don't put them on the second floor, its a lot to get a dog that has to go badly all the way down, also, don't put people with dogs next to the stairs. Dogs are protective by nature and bark when people clunk up the stairs. Its was a bit hard to sleep with the bright orange light outside my window, and yes the drape was closed. It went around the edges. The room was very musty smelling. It was hard to get used to. For tv channel's, they had a full lineup, with a guide built in, this was very NICE! The only complaint I had was the TV was on a dresser that is almost the height of the bed, this made for a sore neck trying to see, plus the TV picture was way smaller then the screen size. The website and sign claim to offer a continental breakfast, but its really a bag breakfast. 1 little milk,orange juice, granola bar and a small box of cereal. If your looking for food nearby, all I could find was Casey's convenience store. I know this sounds like a bad review, but its more informational and constructive criticism.
