Overpriced food at small cafe. $11 for plain burger and chips. Should bring food with you. Nonsmoking room smelled smoky as did the hallways. Room was clean. Pool area was fun. Staff was ok but owners appeared unprofessional and not friendly. Will not stay here again.

The stay was great. Stayed in a room with a balcony facing the lake. The view was amazing. Our kids had a blast in the kiddie pool. The kid pool also has a small slide. All the staff we encountered were super friendly. The rooms were immaculately clean. Two things I would have done differently: ASK THE WATERSLIDE SCHEDULE. It's... More

I have stayed here several times on our trips to Canada. The rooms are always great but the prices seem to keep edging up. However, judging from the looks and reviews of the other two mom and pop motels in town I would say this is the only place to stay without worry. There is an indoor waterslide and pool... More

We were on our way back home to Illinois, coming from Ontario Canada. We were in International falls on labor day weekend trying to find a place to stay at 10:30pm. Everything there was booked or only had a double to share for me and my husband for $111. We decided to keep driving and called around to areas ahead... More

Located right off of I-53 you can't beat the location. Were a little disappointed that they closed down the pool early. For $145/night the continental breakfast was a little iffy. The food at the restaurant bar was pricey, and the service was bad. The rooms were very clean. The shower didn't quite get hot enough, and at $145 I expected... More

Make sure you request a Non-smoking room. Maybe call back and verify before you visit. We were assigned a smoking room and it was nasty! They tried to charge us for an upgrade for a non-smoking room across the hall. Lost our balcony view of lake but got a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub in main room (which we did not... More

Very disapointed. the employees don't have a clue. we asked if they had a boat ramp they said yes, they do not. you have to go down the road to the public access. we asked if they had a fish cleaning house, they said yes. when we got back from fishing it was dark. went to where we thought the... Stayed at Ovesons on our way to Canada from Twin Cities. Resort was modern, clean, and well maintained. Has a feel of an up-north lodge. Bed was firm but we slept fine. Onsite restaurant was very convenient and offered decent meals, as well as ice cream. Free continental breakfast consists of toast and coffee. Didn't use the pool area but... More
