Situated behind a corn field, Stoney Run Lodge is an old farmhouse near Ortonville, Minnesota, available for hunting parties, family reunions, or people with other pursuits in an area not known for hotels. We rented the house for two nights while conducting a geneology search nearby. We felt as if we'd gone back in time---everything was the way Grandma would have left it. Our choice of bedrooms (the house has room for ten people, more if some sleep in the indoor porch) and bathrooms (there are two, each with a shower). Full laundry facilities w/detergent. Adjacent buildings for pool and games. A horseshoe pit. Outdoor porch and grill. Kitchen complete with everything you'll need, including dishes, cooking ware, coffee maker w/coffee, and distilled water dispenser. Hiking and snowmobile trails, Dish TV. There was also a bonus.
