My visit and stay at the Mango Sunset B & B was a very pleasant one. It is located on an 8 acre working coffee farm and is owned and operated by Hans & Marsha Eckert. These are very friendly, really nice people, who went out of there way to make my stay as nice as possible. The accommodations at... More

Reviewer: David W. Ward This was my second stay at the Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast. The location is convenient to the airport and Kailua, without the congestion of the town during the weeks before, during and after the IronMan championship. The accomadations are comfortable, clean and friendly, offering free internet access and some beach and scuba gear use. The... More

My boyfriend and I stayed for two night in September 2006 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location was extremely convenient to the airport, beaches, and restaurants and we were given a great hand-drawn map that really helped us navigate. My boyfriend was especially thankful for the Costco tip - the gas really was a lot cheaper. We stayed in the... More

There is a beautiful view off the laini, especially during the sunset. it never gets too hot or too cold, down in kona it gets hot and muggy. In the morning we were served unbelievably good food, we also... More

It is not the first time that my wife and I stay in B&B, but this time it was different. We arrived at Mango Sunset BnB at the beginning of April for 6 nights. At our arrival we got a very warm welcome from Marsha and Hans and the room was waiting for us nice, clean and comfortable, so we... More

I stayed at BnB Lyman Farms for 2 nights. I wanted a quiet and affordable place for the night, and a breakfast in the morning. I got all that and a more: I very much liked the farm and the hosts. Hans showed me the farm and many of his plants. Their farm is in walking distance to a small... More

It is a very different place with a most beautiful view. What we liked best was Hans' own european style pancakes served with 100% Kona Coffee (sure, what else would you expect) and fresh fruit sitting on the lana'i learning everything about coffee, because Hans really likes to teach you. The place has a very charming and relaxed athmosphere, the... More
