“Not the best in town”

Stayed here twice between 2004 and 2006. The hotel is relatively secluded, a few minutes out of town, and the service is pretty good. The free breakfast is a nice plus. The rooms are reasonably comfortable, like a standard modern motel room--new, but nothing out of the ordinary. Note though, that if the hotel is fully booked, there will not... more

This was not what we expected. I should have known something was wrong when we drove in and next door was a propane facility. The place looked nice though and we did have reservations made through the AmericInn website. Got a special winter rate on a room with a whirlpool tub by the bed. Yes, romance had a part in... more

We chose the Americinn for its "no smoking" policy. The room size was average but it could use some extra cleaning. There was pink bacteria on the bottom of our toilet and on the removable hand held shower head (I cleaned the shower head myself) . My son's room did not have the same probelm. Maybe our handicapped accessible room... more
