Recently spend weekend in villas- weather crappy, however nice cozy, comfortable room made up for it. Front desk staff was exemplary, best we've encountered in a long time, they know what hospitality is all about. Look forward to the new Lakeside Lodge in the building plans.

We chose Quarterdeck for a large family reunion. We knew the history of poor reviews, but we foolishly believed the new owners when they made promises about renovating and upgrading the facility. Our family showed up to find a property in such disrepair, that it bordered on dangerous. (See pictures) While a new "chalet" has been built, the majority of... More

We recently stayed at this resort with family and it was awful! This is false advertisement at its worst! There are bulldozing the property in a few months and build a new resort on the property in 2014, but in the mean-time they are simply letting everything fall into disrepair and the staff clearly does not care about taking care... Had a late lunch on the patio. The burgers were good, but the lunch special: lobster bisque, grilled half sandwich and watermelon and greens salad was a great combination. Great value, delicious foods. Service was friendly and cheerful. We could park our pontoon at the dock.....a nice option. We'll go back.

Filthy rooms built probably in 50's... Never cleaned or renovated. Sadly we have 5 more wasted days at this trashed out trailer park! Will never come back... They claim that they are going to bulldoze the whole place soon and rebuild... Well they should be taking care of their current customers first!!!

My husband booked a midweek stay here for a romantic fall getaway and it was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we checked in we were told that the usual continental breakfast wasn't available because there were fewer guests during the week. Instead our room was stocked with a beautiful breakfast tray filled with breads, fruit and yogurt.... More

Just about a week ago, Quarterdeck opened a new patio overlooking the water of Gull Lake. It is very new so there are some kinks they need to work out, but I will definitely be back! The new menu has something for everyone and the food quality has improved tremendously! The patio overlooking the water is beautiful! I cannot wait... More

We stayed in the Lakeside Villa the last weekend of June 2012. Friends of ours booked our room as well the room next to us for themselves. We got the room at a fantastic bargain due to a "hot deal". I really enjoyed the room itself. The view of the lake and how the room is decorated are complimentary. I... More

We stayed here mid October. Weather was pleasant for Minnesota, sunny and 50's. Check in was very nice, Lee was a great welcomer. Our room had a great view of Gull Lake off of a balcony. Two person whirlpool and gas fireplace was a nice addition for this time of year. Sunrises were gorgeous. We really liked the room and... More

My husband and I went up there in August for 4 nights, it was our 2nd time up there. Lee and Maxine are very nice. We stayed in the villa in the lower level walkout, it was clean and okay. When we went outside on the patio,it was dirty, cob webs all over the building. We rented a fishing boat,... More
