We recently celebrated our 40th anniversary at Grand View Lodge. We had a wonderful time. We played a round of golf at the Preserves Golf Course, enjoyed Happy Hour at the Pub, ate a delicious walleye dinner at the lodge, cruised around the lake on a complimentary pontoon ride, and stayed overnight in the lodge. This resort has so many... More

Just got back from our 4th visit to GVL and overall we had a very positive experience. We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in a few hours early (this has not been our experience in the past and not an expectation, but a nice surprise). We stayed in Cabin 134 which is fairly newly... More

We have stayed at Grand View Lodge twice - once as a family of four and once as a couple. Both visits were excellent, although we both felt that our trip with the kids allowed us to take more advantage of what the resort has to offer. There are just so many wonderful activities for kids and families. Every common... More

Beautiful room, beautiful setting, clean and quiet. What more could you want!? We only stayed here for 2 night and boy do I wish we had stayed longer. You won't be disappointed in this place. The price was very reasonable too.

Stayed in all three of the connected units on Nokomis which made the beautiful home a 4 bedroom. There is even a washer and dryer. We cooked almost all of the meals so can only say that the breakfast buffet is quite good. It has bacon, sausage several egg dishes, sweet goodies, fruit and lots of other wonderful delights. The... I should preface this by saying that we are returning there two more times this year. The activities are fun, the restaurants are good, and the staff you interact with are wonderful. This should be a 5-star resort. But it is not. The management is horrible. They bait and switch, they overcharge (and hope you don't notice), and they outright... More

This guest, who has been a patron of Grand View Lodge, attempted to purchase a spa package that was not available for the specific time frame that she desired. We have multiple spa packages built throughout the year that allow our guests an experience they won’t find anywhere else, and that can be used only during certain time periods. After... More

This was a short getaway for us, a couple in our 50's. I've always wanted to stay here. The lodge itself is a historic landmark and the grounds couldn't be prettier in a north woods setting. The beach is very long and sandy and well kept. When we ate at one of the restaurants, our food was always great. We... More

We stayed at the Interlachen cabins which are about a mile from the main result to the east, and still within view of the main Lodge. We rowed our kayaks across the lake from our cabin to the main lodge in about 20 minutes. Anyway, a great place to stay. Our "cabin" was great, right on the water, right outside... More

We just returned home from a six day stay with our adult children, their spouses and our four grandchildren. Our cabin for ten was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone and a playroom with football table, game table and big screen TV for the grandkids. We stayed in the Fairway part of the development . We signed up online prior... More

We stayed at the Grand View Lodge for a wedding. We were told our room in the main lodge would be $345 per night and that we HAD to have the meal plan since we were staying on the main property (my sister-in-law also stayed in the main lodge and was not required to have a meal plan. We would... More
