I was in town on short notice and booked a room for Friday night and not expecting much based on the room rate, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. Room at 3 beds, not 2 and obviously was recently remodeled. I'm heading back this week and will be staying there again.

Our flight got in very late and we're traveling through MN and chose this place on a whim. The man at the front desk was extremely pleasant and willing to work with us arriving late. There is nothing like small town hospitality. Clean. Comfortable. Cute. Crazy cheap. Definitely will be staying here over others at UNDER half the price!

Absolutely fantastic little inn. Located right off the highway. Very kind woman working at the front desk. Cozy, little room with a vintage cabin feel. Comfortable bed. Two desk/table areas. Spotless. Amazing price. Don't pass this little spot up. We had an appointment in Marshall but there is not much to choose from there. It was only a 45 minute... More

Traveling back "home" to visit family and simply needed a room to sleep - hoping for a comfortable bed. Did not want to pay for all the overpriced "extras" of other local motels. The reviews were right on the mark. We had a comfortable bed, simple amenities, and excellent customer service. The owners have done a great job of taking... More

Stayed here with a group of friends recently. It does not look like much from the outside, but the owners are clearly invested in having clean rooms and a nice alternative to the chain that is in town. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown, and has a wonderful greasy spoon right across the parking lot. This hotel is... More

Travelling for 21 days last Aug. & Sept. by motorcycle. We had stayed the night before at a similarly priced motel & had a very poor experience, wife was wondering all day how the Sportsmen Inn in Montevideo would compare - what a great surprise! Very modern & extremely clean, close to good dining , staff extremely friendly & helpful... More

We have stayed here more than once and have usually had different rooms. The rooms have always been clean. Bath lines smell fresh. Small fridge, microwave and coffee pot in rooms. Two restaurants are within walking distance along with a Burger King. The area is nearby to hunting and fishing. The only thing I wish the room had is a... More

I happen to stay at the Sportsmen every 2 weeks. The owners are always updating everything in every room. Brand new Air conditioner/Heater, New Windows, New T.V.s, New Mattresses, HBO, everything you need at a GREAT price. Food establishments very close. Very Clean. For the price, I'd highly recommend it.
