My husband and I have stayed in this hotel several times. The whirlpool suites are very nice. Rooms are kept clean. We typically book the Romance Package online which comes with champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and breakfast. The room was very comfortable as was the bedding they use. The breakfast buffet is quite expensive if you don't get it included... more

Very poor sevice. The pool was dirty. The hot tub jets were not working properly. The TV remote did not work right. Internet on the TV was poor. Bath were very slippery, we asked for a bath mat. It was a nightmare the two days that we were there. The water was shut offf from 10:00am to 1:30pm. We did... more

My wife and I stayed here last weekend and we were both very pleased with the public spaces and our room. We've stayed at almost every major hotel in the Minnea[polis area and this is one of the nicest. more

My husband and I were planning a trip to get out of town and stay at a hotel for our one year anniversary. We decided on the Marriott, and when we arrived, we were judged immediately. Because of our looks, we were thought to be some kind of problem people, so they asked for us to pay before we even... more

I'm a heavy traveller, and have stayed at a wide range of hotels. Marriott is the most predictable of hotels - no surprises, good quality, but no Wow factor. I'm in the Elite category of the Marriott FF program, and booked a three day weekend using points, and was upgraded to a suite with a jucuzzi. The hotel looks to... more

My husband and I wanted to take his daughter (age 10) somewhere for a weekend getaway, but couldn't travel far because she had so many places to be in the local area (for sports and church events.) We decided to look for a local place where we could go to have a 'vacation close to home.' I called the Marriott... more

My partner and I just returned from a long weekend at the Marriott. The staff were absolutely amazing, especially Andrea and Megan at the front desk who spent a lot of time and effort correcting a problem that wasn't even their mistake to correct. CHECK IN: The Hotel is very nice and airy feeling, has a large lobby with a... more

What does $138 per night get you? 1. A room - mostly clean, no view, out of date and heavily worn furniture. 2. No wireless internet. Wired internet available for 12.95 per day (yes that's per day). 3. No complimentary breakfast. A Super 8 type breakfast is available (toast, fruit, yogurt) for $9. A full breakfast is avalable for $14.... more

I stayed at the Marriott Southwest in October for a couple of nights, and I highly recommend this facility if you are needing accomodations in the area. Easy access from the airport, not a bad drive. Located in a very nice business park. Check in was a breeze; fast, with friendly counter staff. A computer and printer is provided right... more

We have stayed in this hotel a couple of times over the Holiday Season while visiting Minneapolis for Theater events. We found the lobby very impressive and it reminded us of the Marriott we stayed in while visiting Milan, Italy. The marble floors and open space was very inviting. The room was warm and the bed was made with six... more
