We've never stayed in a Residence Inn before but got a good deal for a 4-day stay. It was amazing! The suites are very large. We had a huge living room, good-sized bedroom and a nice small kitchen. Two big screen plasma TVs (one in living room, one in bedroom). Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Great for even a short... more

Once the billing issues got figured out, I really liked this hotel. The location is great, the room has all the amenities you need, and the TV's are the biggest and best I've had in a hotel (outside of my 5 star experiences in New York City). The worst thing though....I was in a one bedroom suite, but you hadda... more

My family and I stayed at the Residence Inn Minneapolis Downtown to handle personal business in the city and surrounding area. The hotel is in a great location for downtown Minneapolis. It is indirectly linked to the skyway system (just off the hotel lobby). Macy's, Saks and Barnes & Noble are all within 2-3 blocks, as are many independent and... more

Stayed at the Residence Inn for a night in Jan. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Studio room was spacious, clean and updated. Room had a flat screen TV and bed was very comfortable. Location of the hotel was also great! It is linked indoors to many of the nearby downtown buildings so it was great to be able... more

The location of the hotel is great, just steps from the nicollet mall with plenty of shops and dining. The staff was very helpful in explaining how to use the skyway system connecting the hotel to many other buildings downtown. The rooms were a relatively standard residence inn layout with plenty of room and stylish features. Rock Bottom Restaurant even... more

Overall, I liked this property. A very convenient downtown location, just 3 blocks from the Nicollet Mall Light Rail stop, and very close to shopping, restaurants, and convention center. The room is very spacious with a kitchette and sitting area. I found the room to be clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Nothing special on decor or furnishings. The only qualm... more

Superior staff at the front desk. Helpful with directions and assistance. Friendliest bunch I have ever encountered. Special thanks to Lacy for her suggestions and assistance. Minneapolis is a great city and Residence Inn is a great place to stay. Very walkable city with plenty of restaurants. Very near Nicollette Mall (pedestrian friendly street that runs from Convention Center up... more

Noticed they claimed someone else confused this property with the Depot nearby. I have stayed at both and do know the difference. The Depot is modern, clean, immaculate, granite countertops and helpful caring staff. The residence inn room I had was "dated", broken laminate countertops. When I asked if they had a better room the "manager" didn't seem to care... more

This is probably the most comfortable, and most spacious hotel room I have stayed in. It makes me want to stay in Residence Inn's wherever I travel! Large s-o-o-o comfortable king bed, across the room there is a couch, arm chair and coffee table. The tv is situated between the two areas on a dresser and swivels back and forth.... more
