Sheraton Minneapolis West is just off the Interstate / major transportation routes that make Minneapolis St Paul easy to get around. It is about a 10-15 min drive to Mall of America, and Downtown. There is a large shopping mall just across the road with a couple of resturants in it. There is good parking but the hotel seems to... more

I stayed here twice this June. Once on the club floor, and once regular room. The regular room was no different than the club floor in any way. Since the club floor has no breakfast or evening snacks on a weekend I told the front desk that I'd appreciate a free continental breakfast in the restaurant, and they comped me... more

Stayed here on a business trip. The first thing I noticed was a dispenser in the lobby with "elixir water" in it. It had lemon and lime slices, and mint. I was hesitant but colleagues encouraged me to try it--it was refreshing. I've since made it at home. Nice touch for people just arriving. Check-in was very fast. The lobby... more

Standard-issue Sheraton, slightly dated but clean and very comfy rooms. Good efficient friendly service. Decent location - easy to find off main highway, opposite big Macy's mall, handy for local restaurants in a quiet and civilised leafy neighbourhood. Hotel room service provides sound burgers and so forth. Indoor pool on small side but hot tub OK. Decent little gym. All... more

On the surface, the Sheraton Mpls. West is a very typical 70's issue suburban motor hotel, with two atriums (lobby and separate pool), relatively typical Sheraton rooms (with great Sheraton beds), a sleepy hotel bar and a fairly basic restaurant. But the hotel is used to train international Starwood staff, which livens the place up with service from Turkey and... more

My husband and I stayed here August of 2008. The only reason we picked this hotel and location was because of the pet policy. We had never traveled to the cities with our pets and couldn't stay at the hotels we normally do. I was worried about staying at a new hotel in a new area, but we didn't have... more

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Sheraton Minneapolis West and were a bit skeptical since it was only $89/night, which seemed very cheap for a Sheraton. We still can't figure out why it was so afforadable because it was fantastic. We had the most comfortable bed and a nice bright, very clean room. The only disappointment was... more

We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly. I was delighted when the clerk handed me a little gift bag for my pouch. Oh, a treat!? NO, doggie clean-up bags. Oh well. Hotel rooms are entirely indoors with only one entrance/exit. So, if you are traveling with your pet, you'll be making a trip through the whole hotel. Hotel... more

Easy access to freeway. Hotel staff was friendly. My room key somehow stopped working in the second day. They gave me a new one and apologized and gave me a free drink ticket at the louge. more
