We had to change rooms after the first room shower leaked all over the floor. The room for the next 2 days was not cleaned without calling the front desk. Then they forgot soap, cups and coffee. The parking passes never worked. Front desk had line 20 deep, so good luck talking to someone. Stay Away!

We stayed three nights at the Marquette. The room was quite large and very comfortable. The lobby has an area with seating which is nice. Two of the four elevators were not working while we were there, so it was very slow to get up and down to one's room.

Very convenient to downtown, target field, target center, etc. service is pretty good. Bar is pretty good but small, although there is a very large lounge area with plenty of couch seating. As for room cleanliness, I was pretty grossed out by the black mold over the shower head!

The Marquette was very well located for the meeting I attended in downtown Minneapolis, and I will stay there again -- especially if the company is paying for it. In terms of what's best about the Marquette: The location, the integration of the hotel into the downtown network of skyways, the rooms have been recently renovated, and the bathrooms was... More

We stayed two nights at the The Marquette Hotel in Minneapolis. It was vey nice with spacious rooms. The location is perfect.....walking distance to Target Field,Target Center and the great food and drink options on Nicollete Mall. The entire staff was fantastic from check in, bell service, food service and housekeeping. We have stayed in much more expensive hotels in... More

The staff is well trained and provide great service. The rooms are very nice. The linens smell of very strong cleaner and were slightly irritating to sleep in. If you have sensitive skin, another hotel may be the choice for you. I recommend eating outside of the hotel if you prefer local or natural ingredients as everything is heavy and... More

This hotel is somewhat odd. It is touted/advertised as a boutique hotel but not like any boutique hotel I have stayed in. We arrived during the week the MLB baseball event was occurring and the hotel was very busy with ... baseball fans. In the downstairs lobby there was a table selling MLB baseball paraphernalia plus all the reception staff... More

We stayed overnight July 18 so that we could walk to a Twins game. Super close to Target field. Very clean, inexpensive for the two bed room. Only draw back...the elevators were not all working and were EXTREMELY slow. We were on the 9th flr. The two beds were 3/4 size, so we had a bed each. Staff were very... More

Funny thing happened on the way to our room, on the way to the game, on the way to the airport. The wait times for the elevator were longer than I've seen--almost anywhere. Might have been that the hotel was at capacity or that the 4 elevators can't support the number of people that are staying, but is one of... More

I can't say enough about how great the staff at The Marquette are. They go the extra mile every time. The front desk staff, the bellman and the executive lounge staff always greet you with a smile and will do their very best to accommodate any request big or small. I've stayed here multiple times and have never heard the... More
