Nothing can be more convenient if you have work in the University of Minnesota. The rooms are really comfortable. They have a good gym. There are a number of dining options (Applebees attached) around the area. more

The room was ready when we arrived. We got up to our room. They are pretty old and outdated but it was at least clean. The room was super hot. Turned on the air conditioner which sounded like an old engine trying to work. The windows at least opened. Air conditioning wasn't working and I went to call the desk.... more

My wife and I came to town to watch our Northwestern Wildcats take on the Gophers in mens basketball on 2/22/09. We wanted to stay somewhere closeby Williams arena knowing the campus is large. We were pleasantly surprised just how close the arena was. Not to mention the convienence to downtown and the rest of the campus! This hotel is... more

I stayed at this hotel in September 2008. The hotel is is old and very in need of a renovation. It's very dated as well. After reading all of the other reviews is when I decided to try this hotel. Again, I do not understand why they would be apt to give quaility reviews for the Radisson Univ. needs help.... more

We were taking the Amtrak out of Minn. so we wanted a nice hotel close to the train station. This hotel is the closest of the highest rated hotels. The train leaves at 7:50am and the hotel shuttle leaves for the FREE transfer to the train at 7am, ample time. Tip the driver. The room was very clean. The area... more

This hotel was excellent. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in September 2008. It was marvelous. It is located in the Univeristy of Minnesota. It is a very nice location. The very spacious room I stayed in was on the 8th floor and it was great; it had fantastic furniture, comfortable bed, and a great view. The lobby... more

Stayed here for business earlier this month and was really impressed. Rooms were decorated to a high standard and the beds could be adjusted to become harder or softer as required. On site fitness room really small but there is access to the adjacent University facility which is huge. Great bagel shop along the road to the left of hotel... more

I spent a week at this hotel. Over all the hotel was clean, the front desk very professional and polite. My complaints are some what picky but in combination they made for a less than satisfactory stay. If you are attending events at the University in which you must be at daily this is fine otherwise there must be better... more

The Radisson University often can be a more reasonably priced option to downtown hotels, but still conveniently located to either downtowns or the University campuses. The Select Comfort bed is very comfortable, and the room/floor was very quiet. I found it difficult to cool down the room (felt very warm when I arrived), and the heating unit in the room... more
