I have had 2 bad experiences at this hotel. I will never stay here again. #1 - May 2013- booked 2 rooms. Checked in at 6pm, and only one room was ready. Was informed that the staff was "graciously allowing" us to check in "early." 6pm is not early checkin. We were informed that we'd receive a call when the... More

Dear kenzielarae, We appreciate your candid feedback regarding your two experiences with our hotel. We certainly never like to disappoint any of our guests when staying at our hotel. We were grateful that you gave us another opportunity by accepting our offer for a complimentary certificate for a one night stay. I apologize for the confusion with the way we... More

I almost exclusively stay at Marriott properties. Checked in with a colleague for the week. Confusion on the rate and would not honor booked rate. Manager Allison provided some concessions. Booked my colleague in a room not much larger than a closet. Very unfriendly process. Walked across the street and spoke to an enthusiastic and welcoming radisson front desk agent... More

Dear r0bear, Thank you very much for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience at our hotel. I apologize if we did not honor your negotiated rate; there are many negotiated rates that require appropriate identification in order to receive those specific rates. I am glad that Allison was able to offer some concessions to offset not being... More

Very nice hotel. Rooms were large enough. Excellent location in downtown Minneapolis. Only 2 blocks from Target Center. Staff was courteous, professional, and very helpful with questions. For a downtown location, I felt the price was very competitive and fair. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast is not included, but available at the onsight restaurant

Stayed here for a week while traveling on business. The atmosphere is great, the location is outstanding and the staff is extremely helpful and courteous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone no matter the time of year, the downtown area is connected by skywalk which made it convenient to shop and eat without needing a coat despite the -20... More

We were in town vising the U of M and taking in a Timberwolves game. This hotel is clean and nice and in walki g distance to everything downtown. Restaurant menu was limited but we had excellent walleye sandwich and BLT. Valet service was good and hotel staff accomodated a late check out request. Decor is pretty basic.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our hotel. I must admit I do love reading about our great location, we are indeed very fortunate to have the best location in town. I remember when I went to college in Switzerland to study Hotel Management the first thing I learnt was that the most important aspect of... More

Let me start by saying, this is not a bad hotel. The room was fine, the workout center was nice, the lobby area is clean and organized. But, and it's a big but, I went down to the breakfast buffet this morning to find one of the worst buffet's in the history of Marriotts. I'm a Marriott Gold customer, so... More

This is a wonderful hotel. It seems like it is walking distance to everything from here. It has stores all around and night life everywhere. We stay here every year on our night out and it never disappoints! The rooms are up to date, clean, and comfortable. The service is great and friendly. There is a bar in the main... More

Attending the "Grand Red" wine tasting in Minneapolis at a nearby hotel, I decided to stay over at the Marriott Minneapolis City Center, so as not to have to drive home, and to give my wife and me a badly needed rest. We had a very nice time. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, and very helpful. They volunteered... More

First time at this property, chosen for location, which cannot be beat. Standard Marriott fare, nothing stood out as extraordinary, and nothing was wrong at all. Concierge Lounge was quite crowded during breakfast, yet the food was kept fresh and the tables were promptly cleaned as the crowd came and went.
