I was in town for a concert and booked a king suite, the description reads a king bed in separate room and pull out sofa sleeper in the living area. When we checked in with 2 adult and 2 teenagers got up to the room and found a room with one bed but no sofa. There was an oversized chair... more
I stayed here for six nights. When I first arrived, I was in a first floor room overlooking a parking lot. It was a bit creepy, in part because with their "interesting" shades, it is hard to know whether or not people can see in unless you close a second blind that blocks all light from outside. They were willing... more

Visited Minneapolis again this past weekend, and once again stayed at the Best Western Downtown (Normandy). The last time I stayed we had a street-side room and it was a bit noisy. This time we had a parking lot side suite and it was almost completely silent. The suite was great quite large... sofa/hide-a-bed, two comfy chairs, coffee table etc.... more

We always book our stay at the Normandy. Everyone there is always very helpful, super nice and attentive to our every need. It is in... more
I was dreading my business trip on a Sunday night to snowy Minneapolis from my home in sunny Arizona, but the intimate Best Western Normandy Inn seemed nearly as warm and cozy as my own home. Being a single traveler on a short turn-around trip, the friendly, attentive staff was just what I needed. Upon my arrival I was greated... more
For $120 a night, you would expect: warm swimming pool with adequete room temperature and lighting free parking "was charged a $14 for parking "not mentioned until I checked out" Pay per view TV Accurate billing "was charged an extra $100" When I tried to call to get straight, hard to get a hold of anyone. No continental breakfast Very... more
The Normandy Inn & Suites is a full service, urban hotel, and is a great value for hotel guests who value our downtown location. As is the case with all downtown hotels, there is a parking fee. With only a rare exception, our guests find our parking fee of only $7.00 per night to be acceptable (it's the least expensive...
