This hotel wants so badly to be hip and cool in what has become a very hip and cool town-Minneapolis. Unfortunately, nobody told them that you actually have to work at it. Sure, the hotel sports a modern and hip design but that is where it ends. This place is ruined by an apparently untrained and uncaring staff. They are... more

My husband and two other couples got together to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversaries. Our stay at the Graves Hotel was fantastic. First, we had a complimentary upgrade. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. The showers were so wonderful. We loved the location, within walking distance to everything we wanted. more

We arrived at the Graves for a week long stay that also included 3 days of a business conference. While the entry is somewhat confusing (registration is on the 4th floor) Everyone was friendly and helpful in getting us checked in. Our room was very modern, think VERY upscale Ikea in design. The only thing we found odd was the... more

Just got back from my second stay at Graves 601, both while on business. This is a great hotel, with modern and comfortable decor and good sized rooms. It's hip, but not so much that business travelers feel uncomfortable. I was upgraded to a spacious sunlit corner room with a king size bed, a sofa and a 42 inch plasma... more

Just returned from staying at the Graves 601. I have stayed at many downtown Minneapolis hotels. This one is definitely my favorite now. The decor was contemporary and very upscale. It really adds to the downtown experience. The Cosmos bar area was very attractive. The room was very spacious - I didn't expect that! The TV was incredible. The staff... more

The rooms at this hotel are the best in Minneapolis. Larger rooms with very comfy beds. The location was also very nice right next to Target Center and it was on 1st ave. The best thing at this hotel was the room but the restaurant was overpriced and not very good. But it is near some very good restaurants. more

A friend and I stayed at the Graves 601 for a long weekend. We enjoyed all aspects of the hotel. We attended a Timberwolves game as well as taking in the night life...so the location was excellent. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The service that we recevied was... more

We stayed at the Graves 601 for a long weekend with friends in the Twin Cities. The hotel itself was fantastic. Loved the modern rooms and clean design, and enjoyed a room on a higher floor with nice views of the city. The location is perfect for walking anywhere in downtown Minneapolis. Any negative impressions of this hotel were created... more

I stayed at the Graves with my mom and 19 year old sister. The hotel is beautiful, can't complain about that. The location is excellent, directly across the street from the Target Center, First Avenue club and soon-to-be new Twins baseball field. The rooms are very modern with the token overpriced minibars. $4 for 10 Pringles? No thanks. There was... more

The entire place was very neat and fun to be at. The service was excellent! I took my wife here for a surprise evening for her birthday. She was impressed with everything. The bed was the most comfortable bed we had ever slept on in any hotel. Will stay here again, hopefully soon! more
