We stayed as a group of 9 guys. Got two suites that we very reasonably priced and each one had a queen bed and two pullout couches with one in its own room. Also the rooms had kitchens in them with fridges so we had plenty of room to keep beverages cold! We were roughly 4-5 blocks from target field... More

I've visited TownePlace Suites a few times on trips to Minneapolis. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the location is perfect. The daily breakfast doesn't hurt either. No complaints from me!

I stayed at the Towneplace for four nights last week with three of my girlfriends for a conference. Towneplace let us check in early since our flight got in at 10 AM, and also let us check out late and stash our luggage behind the desk while we went around town on our last day. There's a corner store right... More

THE GOOD -Great location -Ample parking for at $15/night -Very Clean room with a kitchennette -The front desk crew led by TIM was awesome. Gave us adjoining rooms that made it easy hit kids to play. -Free wifi -Comfy beds -quiet AC NEEDS IMPROVEMENT -The breakfast is mediocre at best. Embassy suites makes this breakfast look like April fools joke.... More

We spent the night at this hotel due to an event we were attending in downtown Minneapolis. Our family has 5 members- three young children, my wife, and I. The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and the location was great. The room included a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, etc) as well as a separate... More

The suites include a nice kitchen and desk if you need to get work done. It's a block away from all the trendy bars and restaurants on 1st Avenue and not a far walk from the Rail line. A nice place to stay if you're planning on exploring downtown.

The front desk staff person was very nice at check in. When I got to my room, it smelled like a cigarette, so I immediately went back down and she changed me to another room, thank heavens. The rooms remind me of an older apartment with similar finishes. So it was adequate, just nothing special. The placement of the tv... More

All Marriott hotels in the US and Canada are non-smoking properties, unfortunately some people do violate this rule so we inforce a strict penalty of $250.00. We will be looking into the smoking odor. We apologize that this occurrence was overlooked but also glad our staff was able to accommodate another room. We also have plans to make improvements to... My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend. The rooms were a bit dated, but the location was great. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants. More importantly, very close to the Target Field Station for the Metro. We took the train everywhere and it was very easy to use. The front desk staff was very helpful in giving... More

Many people stay here (as name implies and reviews) for extended period of time. It does have a kitchenette but the room is studio style. When we stayed, the hotel still offered only cold breakfast which was very average but at least, you get free breakfast. They are remodeling to offer hot breakfast. There are 2 parking spaces: underground and... More

The arrival was rocky. The past two times I've stayed in a Marriott brand (both were Courtyard) hotel were terrible so I was not really expecting this stay to be any different. We walked up to the counter and the host had his head down looking at papers and using entering data in the computer. I said hello he gave... More
