We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2-bath suite which was perfect since the boys are teenagers – with the sleeper sofa, we each had our own space at night but were still together since the bedrooms open into the living room area. Everything was spotless; the maid even ran our dishwasher at night. Complete kitchen. Three TVs. The water park is... more

Each time we called to inquire on this hotel, we got different answers: is there a free breakfast? - yes, no (there is), is the waterpark open? - yes, no (it wasn't), etc. This hotel is well maintained. All the rooms are suites with full kitchens. I went with a friend and our 2 teenage daughters. We were disapointed there... more

Booked the Residence Inn through a professional conference. Arrived in Minneapolis and took the light rail to Government stop. You could also get off at the Metrodome stop. Either way about a 4 or 5 block walk to the hotel. It was a Friday afternoon and the streets were pretty desolate. No pedestrians. Few street level shops between rail and... more

Overall excellent stayed at the Resident Inn, the Depot in Minneapolis. I had to stay in Minneapolis for 13 days for business and my work had reserved this hotel for us. I can said the best part of that business trip was the hotel. The desk staff was very nice and helpful and the kitchen staff was very very friendly,... more

This place was GREAT! Big room with completely outfitted kitchen, SO clean, bed and couch/chairs were all very comfortable. Walk out through the back exit and cut through the parking lot through to the Renaissance Inn, a sister hotel, outside of which is where I caught my shuttle bus every day. I was in town for a conference; if you... more

This is a fairly typical urban Residence Inn. Single building, four floors. Studios and suites are clean and comfortable. Note that the studio and the 1BR suites are the same size, only with a wall in the 1BR. If you are travelling with kids, you'll want that wall, but if you are solo, the studios actually feel more spacious. Hotel... more

My mother and I stayed here while visiting Minneapolis. We had struggled to find something adequate downtown that wasnt booked or expensive, and we called this hotel, and managed to get a room for $109.00 a night, and it was a LOT less expensive than the Courtyard ($80.00 less), and it even included breakfast. We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite... more

This is a nice, clean hotel in a great location. You can walk all over downtown and to the Metrodome. The breakfast during the week is nice and the hotel is attached to an ice skating rink. more

I stayed here with my 3 kids and my best friend who was visiting from out-state. We live in the city, but stayed downtown to watch the ice skaters and to play in the waterpark. The hotel room itself is incredibly basic and cheaply put together - but is fine for kids. The best part, by far, was the waterpark.... more
