The rooms are your standard Residence Inn rooms...nothing special. The watermark is nice, but small. It's also an extra cost. I've stayed in many other Residence Inns and this one is similar to the others. The big difference is the price, but I'm sure location is a factor.

First time in Minneapolis and must say hotel is FANTASTIC. Room is spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed. Buffet breakfast is perfect - you can have whatever you fancy essentially. One small point - which I love - complementary morning newspapers. In the heart of downtown location is also perfect. All in all a great stay - thank you and... More

I travel for work and spend up to 2 weeks in a hotel. The Residence in sure made it a pleasure! The neighborhood lacks convenience stores, grocery stores, and other conveniences, so the hotel makes up for it in amenities! My room was a spacious studio, with a nice kitchenette featuring a full sized fridge and dishwasher. The wireless is... More

We haven't been to RI at The Depot in a few years, and it is showing its age. They are starting some renovations, however. Didn't matter! For our family, this continues to be the place. Two teens means more space needed. We checked in late Friday night to a 1 BR suite, knowing we were switching to a 2 BR... More

Just got back from a week stay in Minneapolis. I booked in advance so I got a good deal. The hotel has a great location, walking distance to many restaurants, as well as the Guthrie Theater and the banks of the Mississippi River. The hotel rooms could use a little updating, the bed was not very comfortable, and there was... More

I loved the room. We got the 2 bed 2 bath room. They have a cozy little kitchen and the kindest staff. There is a pool, a hot tub, and an exercise room. I adored the pool and hot tub, although the exercise room only has 3 treadmills and a bike

We stayed here for about two weeks and liked it very much. It was almost like home: convenient comfortable apartment, nice quiet area (except for weekends), close to everything, unusually good breakfast and good light dinner (with wine) at night (sometimes), friendly people at reception.

Location was in a good area of town and easy walking distance to many shops and dining places. However, the hotel is old in decor, the rooms have a strange odor and the staff are not very informative- you kind of have to figure it out on your own. The most disappointing part of the entire stay was the water... More

Thank you for responding and we appreciate your feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve. I agree with you that our hotel is very nicely located to local shops and dining in the downtown area. In regards to the hotel décor, we do understand that our hotel does need some updating and we are very excited that... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in June 2014 and I really enjoyed my visit. Hotel is very clean and offers a great breakfast everyday. They also offer an evening meal a few nights a week, but I didn't try it. I really like where this hotel is located, just a few blocks from downtown, but also close to a... More

We stayed for a long weekend. We were excited that they decided to open the indoor water park/pool a day early so we could swim Thursday too. The location is great - a few blocks to the light rail and just a couple blocks from the Mill Museum and Guthrie theater. We liked the suite setup even though the bedroom... More
